Research On The Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of The Hollowing Out Of Rural Population In National Leisure Agriculture And Rural Tourism Demonstration Counties Under Regional Development Differences

With the development of the urban economy,the labor force in the countryside is constantly gathering in the cities and towns,which leads to the increasingly serious hollowing out of the countryside.The hollowing out of the population is the most direct cause of the hollowing out of the countryside.For the national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration counties,the hollowing out of rural population has become a difficult problem that must be overcome in the route of further development.In this study,20 national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration counties(hereinafter referred to as demonstration counties)and non-demonstration counties in Chongqing and Gansu province are selected as the research objects through data collection and literature review.Through comparison,the characteristics and influencing factors of hollowing out of rural population are studied.Finally,development strategies that are targeted,practical and feasible are proposed.Firstly,the research progress,connotation and related concepts about hollowing out of rural population are sorted out.And the outflow of rural population and the degree of hollowing out of rural population are analyzed.Through research,it is found that the population outflow trend of the selected counties is basically consistent with that of the administrative units of the county in the whole province(city).From 2006 to 2016,the degree of hollowing out of rural population in both demonstration counties and nondemonstration counties in Chongqing and Gansu province had been on the rise.And counties with lower population hollowing rates in the region tend to have higher growth values.From the perspective of the whole province,compared with the nondemonstration counties with similar conditions,the demonstration counties have less problem in hollowing out of the rural population in Chongqing,and its development speed is slower.However,compared with the non-demonstration counties with similar conditions,the demonstration counties have more serious problem in hollowing out of the rural population in Gansu province,and its development speed is faster.From the perspective of county type,the degree of hollowing out and increase in the demonstration counties in Chongqing are higher than those in the demonstration counties in Gansu province,and the internal discrepancy are more significant.Secondly,18 representative indicators of influencing factors are selected.And the influencing factors of the hollowing out of rural population are analyzed through geographic detectors.The results show that,in terms of correlation analysis,the level of tourism development and economic construction has a negative correlation with the degree of the hollowing out of local rural population.In terms of overall explanatory power,economic factors > tourism factors > social factors > cultural and educational factors.Tourism factors have a more prominent role in the hollowing out of rural population in Chongqing’s demonstration counties,which is significantly higher than that in non-demonstration counties.Although tourism factors also play a role in the demonstration counties of Gansu Province to a certain extent,non-tourism factors such as economic factors as well as social factors play a greater role.Based on the analysis results of the characteristics and influencing factors of the hollowing out of rural population,targeted countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the development differences between the two provinces.These countermeasures and suggestions focus on six aspects: policy system,tourism industry,tourism supply and tourism reception,clear beneficiaries,public services and social security,as well as infrastructure and ecological cultural environment.
