| Since the reform and opening up,China’s GDP has made remarkable achievements with an average annual growth rate of 9.5%.Meanwhile,from 1981 to 2020,the area of urban construction land in China increased from 6.72×103km2 to 6.03×104km2.The growth rate of land expansion in the built-up area is 2.81 times that of population growth.The expansion of construction land is significantly faster than population urbanization.The phenomenon of extensive use of urban construction land occurs frequently,the cultivated land shrinks significantly,and the spatial structure of land use is unbalanced.To this end,the state has continuously issued regulations on land intensive and economical use,and promoting land intensive use has become an important part of the construction of ecological civilization.However,land use has the characteristics of natural restriction and heterogeneity.Different regions have different functions in the process of land use,and their intensification change rules are also different.Therefore,how to correctly identify spatial functional zones,explore the change law of intensive degree in different zones,and optimize the level of intensive use has become an important proposition and practical problem to promote the improvement of comprehensive benefits of land use and sustainable land use in different functional areas.In view of this,this paper divides the leading spatial functions of counties in Henan Province on the basis of the evaluation index system of county spatial functions,according to the logical idea of"type division classification calculation optimization regulation".Then,on the basis of constructing the calculation model of the intensive use of urban construction land and cultivated land,the intensive use degree of urban construction land and cultivated land is calculated by classification based on the divided County spatial function zoning.Finally,the multi-objective linear programming model is used to determine the optimization objective of intensive degree.The results show that:(1)The spatial function zoning of county land use shows that the spatial function of county in Henan Province shows obvious spatial differentiation characteristics.The high-value areas of urban functions are concentrated in the central region and municipal districts,the high-value areas of agricultural functions are distributed in most of the central and eastern regions,and the high-value areas of ecological functions are distributed in the mountainous and hilly regions in the West and southwest.Using the three-dimensional magic method,the spatial functions of counties in Henan Province are divided into seven types of spatial function zones,including 15 urban construction areas,54 agricultural production areas,19 ecological protection areas,13 urban agricultural areas,7 urban ecological areas,7 agricultural ecological areas and 7comprehensive utilization areas.(2)The measurement of land intensive use in county districts shows that from 2011to 2020,the level of land intensive use in urban construction areas and agricultural production areas in Henan Province has improved as a whole in the past ten years,and the fluctuation among counties has decreased.From 2011 to 2020,the intensive level of urban construction land and cultivated land in most counties has been improved to varying degrees,but the improvement speed of intensive utilization of cultivated land is slower than that of urban construction land as a whole.Based on the analysis of spatial function zoning,it is found that the overall level of urban construction land and cultivated land intensity in each spatial function zoning has been improved,the number of counties with increased urban construction intensity in agricultural production areas and ecological protection areas is relatively large,and the number of counties with increased cultivated land intensity in agricultural production areas,urban agricultural areas and urban ecological areas is relatively large.(3)The optimization and control of county land intensive use found that:the optimal intensive use degree of urban construction land varies greatly among different land use types,with 17.52361 million yuan/hm~2 for urban construction area,14.55713million yuan/hm~2 for agricultural production area,18.65102 million yuan/hm~2 for ecological protection area,9.77875 million yuan/hm~2 for urban agricultural area,11.73166 million yuan/hm~2 for urban ecological area,9.26257 million yuan/hm~2 for agricultural ecological area,the comprehensive utilization area is 12.35379 million yuan/hm~2.According to the calculation of the optimal intensification degree of cultivated land use,the optimal intensification degree of the region involving agriculture as the dominant spatial functional area is high.The optimal intensification degrees of agricultural production area,urban agricultural area,ecological agricultural area and comprehensive utilization area are 13.653 kw/hm~2,12.101 kw/hm~2,11.053kw/hm~2 and 11.133 kw/hm~2 respectively.The optimal intensification degrees of urban construction area,ecological protection area and urban ecological area are 13.012kw/hm~2,9.246 kw/hm~2 and 9.661 kw/hm~2 respectively.By comparison,it is found that the intensive utilization of urban construction land and cultivated land in most counties of Henan Province is far below the optimal level.In the future,we can continue to put forward the land output benefits by increasing the unit land input,while the counties with the intensive degree at or above the optimal level should optimize the land use structure,appropriately increase the land supply,and promote the sustainable use of regional land.There are 42 figures,37 tables and
