Research On Pension Security Issues Of The First Generation Of Migrant Workers In Huanggusi Village, Xinmi Cit

Since the reform and opening up of China in the 1970 s,a large number of rural labor force poured into cities,this generation of migrant workers has provided a strong driving force for the rapid development of China’s social economy.Improving the endowment insurance system for migrant workers is not only conducive to the majority of migrant workers,this is also an important factor in achieving a more equitable pension security system,rationally allocate the industrial resources of the second and next generation of farmers,further promote social equity and safeguard social justice.This paper takes the first generation of migrant workers in Huanggusi village,Xinmi City as the research object.This study aims to analyze the problems existing in the old-age security of the first generation of migrant workers in Xinmi City,and put forward practical suggestions.Through case study and questionnaire survey data summary,combined with the current situation of social security of local residents,the analysis of the economic sources of the first generation farmers’ peasants’ security is as follows: self-pension security from the migrant workers’ own economic accumulation,children’s feed-back and independent job renewal after retirement;urban old-age security from community old-age security and work unit old-age insurance;rural old-age security from land management and rural old-age insurance.There are three areas.In the process of understanding the main economic sources,it is found that there are large differences in the old-age security among individual first-generation migrant workers.Therefore,a survey is conducted to classify the geographical area,industry,occupation type and working period of the first-generation migrant workers before retirement,to observe the convergence between the above aspects and the factors influencing the labour security of the first-generation migrant workers,and to analyse the impact of different geographical areas,different industries,different occupations and different working periods on the old-age security of the first-generation migrant workers.The survey shows that the legitimate rights and interests of many first generation migrant workers are not effectively protected in different regions,industries,occupations and working hours,and there are personal differences in the pension security of the first generation of migrant workers.Analysis of present situation and individual difference of first generation farmers in Huanggusi,Xinmi City,the problem that existed in the security of the first generation farmer was clarified,at present,because of the various causes,the majority of first generation peasants did not participate in employee underage insurance;the first-generation migrant workers with heavy family burdens are afraid to retire.And based on the problems,it explores the causes of its formation.Finally,countermeasures are proposed to strengthen the protection of labour rights and interests of rural workers,promote the equalisation of basic retirement protection resources in urban and rural areas,accelerate the improvement of the retirement and pension system for rural workers,expand the channels for raising funds for rural retirement protection,and establish a multi-dimensional economic protection network for retirement protection.
