The problem of new generation of migrant workers has become a major issue that needs to be solved urgently in the new century.Since the reform and opening up,the first generation of migrant workers have made great contributions to the development of urban society, but the first generation of migrant workers are still separated from the soil, although they work in cities, but the roots are in the countryside. The new generation of migrant workers has been different from the first generation of migrant workers in many places. The new generation of migrant workers has higher requirements for their own development and living conditions than the first generation of migrant workers. When they graduated, they went to work in the city or grew up with their parents in the city. They were weak in the countryside and did not adapt to the rural areas. They are eager to be accepted by the city, but because of the actual institutional factors, social factors and their own factors, they are excluded from the various preferential benefits of the city. The enthusiasm for integration into the city has been hit,and the integration process is very slow. The new generation of migrant workers is non-workers and non-agricultural workers. They can neither return to the countryside nor integrate into the cities, and they are in a very embarrassing situation. This not only brings hidden dangers to the stable development of urban society, but also causes serious problems in the development of the new generation of migrant workers. The new generation of migrant workers has basically separated from the traditional peasant status, and it is not realistic to return them to the countryside.Integration into the city is an inevitable choice. With the expansion of the new generation of migrant workers, the problem of urban integration of the new generation of migrant workers has become a very important social issue in China. This paper mainly takes Henan,a large agricultural province as a template, and selects its representative agricultural city,Pingdingshan City,to conduct in-depth research on the integration of new generation of migrant workers.Pingdingshan City is a city dominated by peasants and with a large population. In recent years, with the adjustment of industrial structure and rapid economic development, more and more new generation of migrant workers have chosen to work in Pingdingshan City. The new generation of peasants who are working hard are eager to integrate into the city, but they are still stunned in the face of difficulties in integration.Through collecting literature, questionnaires, and field visits, this paper collects a large amount of first-hand information, and then combines qualitative and quantitative methods to conduct a careful and comprehensive analysis of these data,on economic integration, political integration, social integration, and cultural psychological integration. The current situation analyzes the large gap between the reality and psychological expectations of the new generation of migrant workers in Pingdingshan City.Through research,we find that the main problems in the integration of the new generation of migrant workers in Pingdingshan City are as follows: First, the employment level is low,the income is low,and the income and consumption are not balanced;Second, the organizational construction is not perfect, the political participation channels are not smooth, and the rights and interests are guaranteed.Insufficient;the third is the lack of infrastructure construction and public service supply, the overall support of the society is not high;fourth, the lack of personal human capital stock, psychological identity difficulties, urban sense of belonging is not strong.Aiming at these problems, this paper analyzes the factors that restrict the integration of the new generation of migrant workers from the aspects of economic cost constraint, political system shielding, social capital deficiency and psychological identity crisis. On this basis,it proposes a specific and targeted solution.Countermeasures, emphasize the construction of a reasonable responsibility sharing mechanism, eliminate the integration of costs as soon as possible, improve government decision-making,gradually eliminate institutional shielding, innovative management models, gradually increase social support, strengthen skills training, and enhance the ability and level of new generation of migrant workers in urban integration.
