| Fintech has flourished under the combined influence of information technology and Internet finance.Due to technology-enabled finance,the financial industry is becoming increasingly competitive as financial companies are doing more and more complex business.On the other hand,with rising income levels and increasing demand for financial products,the financial sector will continue to be dynamic in the future.Ping An Group is typical as a financial enterprise that has put forward an integrated financial development strategy early in China and has a large business system under its umbrella.Ping An Group was selected as the research objec in this study.After collating and summarising the current situation of Ping An Group’s business development and building a BCG model to analyse the existing business portfolio,it was found that there are three main problems in Ping An Group’s business portfolio:First,weak growth in core business;Second,the scale of the technology business is too small and not in line with the Group’s strategic plan;Thirdly,the existing talent pool cannot support the high-quality development of the integrated financial model.Then,the SWOT model,IFE matrix and EFE matrix were established to analyse the internal and external environment of Ping An Group and arrive at the most suitable development strategy for Ping An Group’s business portfolio.Finally,it proposes countermeasures to stabilize the development of core insurance business,slow down the development of securities business,increase investment in scientific research to promote the development of technology business,and proposes safeguards from three aspects: human resources,capital protection and channel construction. |
