| China’s transportation industry has witnessed rapid development after reform and opening up.However,due to the impact of the global economic downturn and the COVID-19 epidemic,the internal and external competition in the transportation is becoming increasingly fierce under the new development pattern.This is especially true of the railway transportation industry,which has the name of "The NO.1" and the relatively slow transformation of management system.In this situation,railway enterprises must study their future development strategies in depth according to their own conditions and enhance their competitiveness in order to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages and achieve leapfrog development.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the development strategy of railway enterprises.Taking China Railway Nanning Group Co.,LTD.(hereinafter referred to as "Ningtie Group")as an example,this study analyzes the internal and external environment of Ningtie Group,identifies environmental factors that affect its development,and constructs EFE and IFE matrix for quantitative analysis.The results show that the quantitative scores of internal and external environmental factors of Ningtie Group are higher than the average,indicating that ningtie group is more able to grasp opportunities and avoid risks in the transportation industry.Meanwhile,it is better than most similar enterprises to play advantages and overcome disadvantages.And then through the SWOT matrix induce better iron group’s overall strategy and competitive strategy alternatives,and using QSPM analysis method to analyze alternatives,and combined with better iron group’s mission,vision and strategic goals,choose the intensive growth strategy is the optimal overall strategy better iron group,differentiation competition strategy is a competition strategy suitable for the development of Ningtie Group.The research shows that: Ningtie Group should choose the intensive growth strategy as the overall strategy in the future development,increase efforts to penetrate the original market,expand new business,open up new markets,and use the advantages of strong research and development ability to develop products to meet customer needs.In the choice of competitive strategy,according to the needs of customers,differentiated competitive strategy is adopted to develop differentiated products and provide differentiated services.Finally,according to the development strategy planning of Ningtie Group,safeguard measures are put forward from six aspects of organization management,physical resources,capital management,technology research and development,talents and risk prevention to ensure the effective implementation of development strategy in the enterprise. |
