Land is the most important resource of agricultural production and has the dual functions of means of production and life security. In the late 1970 s,the reform of the household contract responsibility system began quietly in rural areas, fully mobilizing the enthusiasm of farmers in production and operation, and greatly improving China’s agricultural production level and farmers’ quality of life. However, with the change of The Times, the limitations of the household contract responsibility system are gradually revealed under the action of market economy, and the fragmented land farming mode is difficult to adapt to the needs of modern agricultural development. Therefore, land scale operation is gradually promoted as an important measure to promote China’s agricultural development. This paper takes Anhui Province as the research area, deeply analyzes the basic conditions of land scale operation in Anhui Province, deeply analyzes the current situation of land circulation in Anhui Province according to the collected data, and the characteristics of land scale operation in Anhui Province, lists the typical mode of land scale operation in Anhui Province;Questionnaire survey was carried out on farmers by combining field investigation and sampling investigation to master the actual land management situation of grain growers in the sample area.Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire, this paper makes an empirical analysis to discuss the influencing factors of grain growers’ land scale management in Anhui Province, and puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the land scale management. This paper draws the following conclusions through analysis and research:(1)At present, the development momentum of land scale operation in Anhui Province is good and the speed is fast.At the end of the 13 th Five-Year Plan, the transfer area of farmland in Anhui province reached 40.6 million mu,accounting for 50.4% of the province’s arable land area;In addition, with the continuous increase of land circulation area in the province, farmers’ land scale operation modes include the whole industrial chain operation, company + cooperative + peasant household, village collective + cooperative +peasant household, peasant household + cooperative, family farm and joint society +village collective stock cooperative system + operation large household.(2)Most of the sample farmers are male, and the aging problem is prominent, the overall level of education is low,the number of new professional farmers is limited, and most of them are traditional farmers.Although the average number of contracted land blocks by farmers is4.04,the problem of scattered land is relatively prominent at present.Land blocks cannot be centralized and connected, which is not conducive to large-scale land operation. There are great differences in material conditions among farmers, and they trust their relatives most in social trust. In addition, the risk preference and time preference among farmers mainly favor the projects with low risk and quick return.(3)Analyze livelihood capital from five aspects by using logistics binary regression model. It is concluded that age, agricultural registered permanent residence, agricultural vocational training,non-agricultural vocational training, mobile experience, total area of homestead, number of farm machinery in the family, degree of trust to relatives, cumulative amount of loans this year, and family economic conditions are significantly correlated with farmers’ large-scale land operation.(4)According to the results of heterogeneity test,it can be seen that there are differences in the factors affecting the large-scale land management of farmers of different age groups.Participation in non-agricultural training, housing type and difficulty of borrowing have little influence on the middle-aged and young farmers, but they are relevant to the middle-aged and old farmers and have an impact on them. The degree of trust in relatives and the ability to borrow 50,000 yuan in times of difficulties both have an impact on the middle-aged and young farmer groups, but they have little relationship with the middle-aged and old farmer groups.
