The beginning of 2020 will be a great test for the world,and the novel Coronavirus outbreak will come as a surprise to all of us.The epidemic has affected the normal development of the insurance industry,but it has also stimulated the potential demand for insurance in the society to some extent,brewing the development potential of the insurance industry,which may be a "blessing in disguise" transformation and an opportunity for the transformation and development of the industry.In addition to the difficulties faced by the insurance industry in the traditional competitive environment,the arrival of the epidemic makes the competitive atmosphere more intense.As a state-owned insurance company with a mission,Jiangxi Branch of China Post Insurance plays a more important role in the development of its business and the orderly resumption of work and production while doing a good job in fighting COVID-19.Relying on the "self-management" +“escrow” mode,Jiangxi China Post established and improved the life insurance marketing mode after successfully introducing new capital,coordinated the implementation,deployment and assessment of the postal,bank,express and other sectors,and improved its own strategic competitive advantages.This paper introduces the competitive situation of various insurance companies under the new situation,combs the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on insurance competitive strategy,and focuses on the analysis of the competitive environment of Jiangxi Branch of China Post Insurance in business development.Through the use of PEST analysis,Porter’s Five Forces model and SWOT analysis and other theoretical tools,the competitive strategic environment of China Post Insurance Jiangxi Branch is comprehensively and systematically analyzed and summarized from the macro,medium and micro dimensions.It also points out the disadvantages of assets and liabilities end,solvency,channel management team construction,technology empowerment,professional cadre construction and so on.Combined with theoretical and practical research,the differentiated competition strategy to win the market and customers is obtained.For the deep development of The Postal Bank agent channel,through the construction of special management personnel service team,in-depth mining of customer resources in the network,vigorously do a good job in data architecture construction,and carry out digital precision marketing of high-value products.In order to realize the competitive strategy of Jiangxi Branch of China Post Insurance,this paper puts forward the implementation guarantee of differentiated competitive strategy from the aspects of deep cultivation of channels,strengthening coordination,optimizing talents,accelerating technology and so on.Finally,it puts forward the thinking and prospect of the overall development of the enterprise in the future.
