| With the rise of e-commerce,technological means are becoming more and more advanced,and consumers’ needs are becoming more and more diversified,the impact on the brick-and-mortar retail industry cannot be underestimated.At the same time,both brick-and-mortar stores and online store sales are now declining.The two are no longer in competition with each other,but should be combined with each other to transform into a new retail model.The previous brick-and-mortar retail was built to meet the needs of local consumers and faced relatively fewer consumers than online retail stores.The new retail business model is a new business model based on big data and other technologies,which combines online and offline to achieve user resource sharing and achieve a win-win goal.Therefore,the impact of the transformation of the new retail business model of the department store retail enterprise on the enterprise must be thoroughly studied.This paper analyzes the effect of the transformation of the business model of the department store in Chongqing from the aspect of enterprise performance.This paper takes Chongqing Department Store as the object of research on the impact of business model transformation on corporate performance.First,it expounds the research background,research significance of this paper and the current research status of previous scholars;secondly,it systematically sorts out the relevant concepts and theories of this research;Then,based on the data,the transformation process and operation status of the business model of Chongqing Department Store are sorted out,and the motivation and strategy for the transformation of the business model of Chongqing Department Store are studied and analyzed.Financial capability,performance and non-financial performance of Chongqing Department Store in the whole industry;finally,it provides suggestions for the problems encountered by Chongqing Department Store in the business model transformation,and provides new development ideas for the retail department store industry to help it obtain more living space.After studying the impact of Chongqing department store business model transformation on corporate performance,it can be concluded that after the transformation of the new retail business model,the company’s net profit margin and gross profit margin have both increased,and the growth rate of total assets has also increased.Overall,the transformation of the new retail model has played a role in promoting the financial performance of Chongqing Department Store.At the same time,the non-financial performance of Chongqing Department Store has also improved,which is mainly reflected in the optimization of personnel allocation,the strengthening of membership building,the increase in market share and the optimization of supply chain management.Judging from the results of the financial capability evaluation,it is necessary to pay attention to capital and risk issues during the transformation of the new retail business model.From the results of principal component analysis,the time sequence of business model transformation will affect the degree of improvement in corporate performance.Chongqing Department Store can observe industry changes and meet consumer needs in a timely manner,bravely explore new retail models and carry out innovation and development,and ultimately improve the level of corporate financial performance. |
