As an important part of social reproduction,the financial industry is knowledge-intensive,intelligence-intensive and talent-intensive.The quality,efficiency and competence of the talent team are the key factors restricting the development of financial enterprises.H Wealth Group,as a subdivision of wealth management in the financial industry,takes advantage of the trend and moves forward with great strength under the background of strict new regulations on big asset management,and focuses on talent team building and talent development.As H Wealth Group’s main income-generating group,financial managers’ ability and performance are directly related to the company’s development speed and scale.Therefore,it is an important problem that needs to be solved in this paper to lock the talent portrait and talent standard of financial managers,construct a scientific and reasonable talent evaluation system,identify excellent financial managers that meet the requirements of the company,and comprehensively improve the overall quality and ability of financial managers.Guided by relevant theories of competency and competency model,this paper takes H Wealth Group as the research object and adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to carry out research.First of all,through literature research method,work analysis method,expert group method,behavioral event method,questionnaire survey method and other methods to determine 6 first-level competency factors and 10 second-level competency factors of financial managers.They are moral integrity dimension 10%(integrity 10%),personal action dimension 10%(initiative 10%),customer development dimension 15%(achievement motivation 5%,perseverance 10%),customer transformation dimension 20%(influence ability 15%,confidence 5%),customer relationship building and maintenance dimension 30%(customer orientation 15%,relationship building 1 5%),professional reserve and learning dimension 15%(learning comprehension 5%,professional 10%).Then,the paper describes each competency factor of financial managers and forms a complete competency model.Finally,based on the competency model of financial managers as the cornerstone of talent management,human resource management tools such as talent recruitment tool kit,high potential talent training program,talent inventory and optimization standard are developed.The research results of this paper have certain theoretical value for the in-depth study of talent selection and training of financial managers in the wealth management industry.In addition,the implementation and application of the model have been tracked and analyzed for a certain period of time,and the comparison of data before and after the application of the model can provide certain reference for the talent management of financial managers in other wealth management companies.
