Research On The Development Of Guizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry From The Perspective Of Industrial Value Chain

The development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)industry is related to national medical and health safety and provides a new solution for disease prevention and treatment.At the same time,The TCM industry in Guizhou plays a pivotal role in poverty alleviation.The core of rural revitalization is to realize the prosperity of rural industry.How to realize the steady and healthy development of TCM industry in Guizhou from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization and increase industrial output value? This paper analyzes Guizhou TCM industry in an all-round way through three modules,finds problems from multiple perspectives and puts forward more accurate countermeasures and suggestions.First of all,through the detailed analysis of the development status of the TCM industry chain in Guizhou province,it is found that the TCM industry chain in Guizhou province presents a development pattern of "small in the middle and large at both ends",in which the development of TCM agriculture and TCM service industry is good and the development of TCM industry is poor.Secondly,using the theory of grey correlation degree of Chinese medicine from2011 to 2018 in Guizhou agriculture,traditional Chinese medicine industry,and 13 in TCM service industries related index and two price index,index correlation calculation,it is concluded that Chinese herbal medicine planting area,the TCM enterprise R&D spending and the wholesale sales and traditional Chinese medicine industry in the province output highest correlation,It has the lowest correlation with the number of patent authorization in the field of Traditional Chinese medicine.Finally,the position of TCM industry in Guizhou province compared with Sichuan,Yunnan and Guangxi as well as the national level is calculated based on the position measurement theory of global value chain.Using the 2011-2020 China customs export data calculation of Guizhou and Sichuan Yunnan and Guangxi national average Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese medicine export technology complexity,Guizhou and Sichuan in the traditional Chinese medicine export technical complexity significantly higher than that of Yunnan and Guangxi,and higher than the national average,Chinese medicine export technical complexity significantly lower than the Yunnan and Guangxi,and significantly lower than the national average.Therefore,Guizhou and Sichuan are at the front of the value chain,or the bottom of the "smile curve",the economic effect is not obvious.Yunnan and Guangxi are at the back of the value chain and have gained high added value from technology.Therefore,Guizhou province should vigorously develop the traditional Chinese medicine industry,increase investment in the field of traditional Chinese medicine research,introduce and cultivate a number of powerful Chinese patent medicine manufacturers.Accelerate the optimization and upgrading of the industrial value chain and enhance the position of Guizhou TCM in the value chain of China’s TCM industry.
