| There are certain problems in China’s current economic development and innovation environment.On the one hand,the core technologies cannot be mastered independently and the transformation efficiency of innovation achievements is insufficient,which restricts the high-quality development of China’s economy and causes a certain waste of knowledge and technology innovation achievements.On the other hand,the lack of scientific and technological level also restricts the upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry to high-end,making it difficult to produce high value-added products,hindering the further expansion of the internal economic cycle.At present,the national manufacturing power strategy emphasizes the need to build high-quality manufacturing industry clusters and guide the agglomeration of innovative elements.Industrial agglomeration will help to promote the improvement of innovation capabilities,which in turn can achieve high-end manufacturing in China.Therefore,it has obvious practical significance to analyze the effect of manufacturing agglomeration on the transformation of innovation achievements.This paper uses the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2009 to 2019 to study the effect of manufacturing association agglomeration on the transformation efficiency of innovation achievements.According to the theory of agglomeration economy and the innovation production function,the functional relationship between innovation efficiency and three internal effect factors of agglomeration economy is obtained.The innovation is divided into three stages: knowledge innovation,technological innovation and product innovation.The last stage of product innovation is the transformation from undertaking the innovation achievements of the first two stages to realizing market value.That is,the third stage efficiency is the transformation efficiency of innovation achievements,and the DEA method is used to measure the innovation efficiency.The related agglomeration degree of manufacturing in each province is calculated by using the main business income data of each province’s manufacturing sub-industry and each province’s input-output table.Using the spatial Durbin model to test the spatial spillover effects of processing innovations.The empirical test results show that manufacturing related agglomeration has a significant positive effect on the transformation efficiency of local innovation achievements,and according to the direct effect and indirect effect of the spatial spillover effect decomposition,it is found that manufacturing related agglomeration has a certain inhibitory effect on the transformation of achievements in adjacent areas,while technological innovation has a certain inhibitory effect.Efficiency not only promotes the transformation efficiency of local achievements,but also significantly improves the transformation efficiency of achievements in neighboring regions.This shows that the local manufacturing industry has a high degree of related agglomeration,which has a siphon effect and absorbs the technological achievements of other regions.It also shows that the transformation of technical knowledge into market products requires the agglomeration of manufacturing industries that are closely linked with the industrial chain.Population agglomeration has generated greater product demand markets and promoted knowledge exchange,thus promoting the transformation of local and foreign innovations.The effect of the average education level of each province on the transformation efficiency of innovation achievements is not obvious.It may be that the regions with higher average education level are mainly involved in knowledge innovation and technological innovation,and the transformation of innovation achievements into products requires more manufacturing and market.Participation.Therefore,in order to improve the transformation efficiency of innovation achievements in China and improve the technological level of the manufacturing industry,it is necessary to guide the manufacturing industry to agglomerate in areas with high population agglomeration,and the government needs to issue appropriate industrial policies to guide the manufacturing industry to agglomerate and strengthen the industry-university-research linkage.In response to the structural differences in innovation efficiency in various regions,a national achievement sharing and circulation mechanism should be established and improved to provide innovation achievement resources for other provinces with manufacturing clusters,and realize the transformation of innovation achievements with the help of perfect manufacturing clusters.All regions should rationally use innovation resources according to their own resource endowments,jointly improve the innovation ecological environment,and open up China’s innovation value chain to promote high-quality economic development. |
