Study On Driving Factors And Dynamic Mechanism Of High-quality Development In The Yangtze River Delta

Judging the level of a country’s comprehensive international competitiveness in the international competition structure in the era of globalization depends on the number of urban agglomerations or globalized districts with excellent comprehensive development level.Urban agglomeration and its first city,as the commanding point of national economic development,have gradually become the basic unit in the international competition pattern in the new era.According to the 2010 China Urban Agglomeration Development Report,the Yangtze River Delta has become the sixth largest urban agglomeration in the world,which is one of the regions with the strongest comprehensive development strength and the highest level of urbanization construction in China.However,compared with the other five urban agglomerations,it still has a great space for development.In the new normal stage of development,how to follow the two keywords of "integration" and "high quality" to promote the Yangtze River Delta into a world-class high-level agglomeration is one of the hot topics in the current academic circle.In this context,based on the current situation of development status of cities in the Yangtze River Delta,this study explores the realization paths of high-quality development of cities in the Yangtze River Delta from the perspective of coordinated development of ESE within cities and high-quality development network between cities,so as to provide reference for the highquality integrated development of cities in the Yangtze River Delta.Firstly,the paper analyzes the research on high-quality development,coordinated development and network development,summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of existing research,and on this basis,puts forward the research content and implementation ideas of this paper,and expounds the related theoretical concepts and research methods involved in the research process;Secondly,the development status of cities in the Yangtze River Delta is measured and evaluated,and the spatiotemporal evolution trend of high quality development level of each city is analyzed.Then,based on the perspective of coordinated development within each city,the spatial and temporal differentiation of ESE coordinated development in each city was studied,and the correlation between ESE coordinated development and high-quality development was compared.The driving factors of ESE coordinated development are explored by using the obstacle factor diagnostic model and geographic detector.Based on the perspective of network,this paper studies the interaction relation between cities in the Yangtze River Delta,and the overall structural of network characteristics and individual characteristic of each city in the network are analyzed.Through build ERGM model,the evolution dynamics of high-quality development network are explored.Finally,based on the research results of each part,the theoretical path of realizing high-quality development of cities in the Yangtze River Delta is analyzed and explored.The results mainly include:(1)The present situation and changing trend of high-quality development of cities in Yangtze River Delta are analyzed.Combining with the basic connotation of high-quality development,the comprehensive evaluation index system of high-quality development is constructed,and the level of high-quality development of cities is measured by using the grade of longitudinal and lateral pull method.The results show that the quality development level of cities in the Yangtze River Delta has been rising steadily year by year,with significant spatial agglomeration characteristics.The development heterogeneity among cities is obvious,there are various interactions,and the development gap is gradually narrowing.The evolution trend is consistent with the direction of policy planning,and it has not broken through the limitation of administrative divisions,presenting a multicenter development model of "single-core radiation and multi-level drive".(2)The driving factors of ESE coordinated development in the Yangtze River Delta are explored.From the perspective of individuals,this paper measured the level of coordinated development of ESE in cities in the Yangtze River Delta based on the coordinated development theory,analyzed the relationship between coordinated development of ESE and high-quality development,explored and analyzed the driving factors of coordinated development of ESE in cities in the Yangtze River Delta by comprehensive application of obstacle factor diagnostic model and geographic detector.The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between ESE coordinated development and high-quality development in Yangtze River Delta,which is the relationship between "method" and "goal".The hot spots are distributed in the central and eastern part of Shanghai,while the cold spots are distributed in the northwest part of Xuzhou.There is a significant correlation between economic factors and ESE coordinated development,among which industrial structure upgrading plays the most significant driving role,social stability plays the second,and ecological factors only play a significant driving role in high-level cities.(3)The evolution dynamics of high-quality development network in the Yangtze River Delta are explored.From the perspective of the overall,based on fixed radiation-gravity model to measure the interaction force between cities in the Yangtze River Delta,used social network analysis method constructed the high-quality development network of Yangtze River Delta,analyzed the development of the network’s overall structure characteristic and the individual character characteristic,and ERGM model are used to explore the influence factors of interaction between cities in Yangtze River Delta.The results show that the interaction among different cities is heterogeneous and can be divided into three types: synergistic effect,radiation effect and siphon effect.There is a significant positive correlation between network structure perfection and high-quality development.Under the guidance of relevant policies,ecological construction plays the most selective role in strengthening the interaction between cities and improving the network structure,followed by infrastructure construction and innovative development efficiency.The size and spatial and temporal geographical distance of each city have a significant inhibition effect on the formation of network.Finally,based on the empirical results of the current situation of the high-quality development of cities in the Yangtze River Delta,the driving factors of coordinated development of ESE within cities,and the evolution of high-quality development network,the realization path of high-quality development of cities in Yangtze River Delta is proposed.
