| In recent years, the advantages of social enterprises in social governance have attracted the attention of many scholars, and the growth of social enterprises has also become the focus of attention. At the same time,my country’s start-up social enterprises are faced with the dual growth dilemma of internal resource deficiencies and external "new entrant deficiencies".Building a stakeholder alliance of social enterprises and obtaining organizational legitimacy is conducive to solving the resource crisis and new entrant deficiencies. However, the current research only focuses on the positive effect of the alliance network and organizational legitimacy on the growth of the enterprise, and has not yet deeply analyzed the social enterprise growth as a complex multi-factor combined whole, what characteristics should the alliance network and organization have to achieve high growth performance. What types of organizational legitimacy. In addition, existing quantitative research assumes the relative independence of alliance networks and organizational legitimacy, ignoring the actual situation of their interdependence and synergy.Case studies are limited due to insufficient generalization of the conclusions. Therefore, based on the qualitative comparative analysis method that integrates the advantages of qualitative and quantitative research, this study is of great value and significance to explore the influence mechanism of the synergistic drive of different conditions at the level of alliance network and organizational legitimacy on the growth of start-up social enterprises. In order to solve the growth dilemma of start-up social enterprises’ resource deficiencies and "new entry defects",this research selects 215 social enterprises in the start-up growth stages of different industries and regions in my country based on configuration and system thinking, and uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.Qualitative comparative analysis method of fuzzy sets, using fs QCA3.0software in data analysis to explore how the conditional configuration composed of 5conditions at the two levels of alliance network and organizational legitimacy affects the growth of social enterprises in the early stage,in order to find ways to improve growth Multiple feasible paths of performance, providing reference for different start-up social enterprises. This research solves the growth dilemma of resource deficiency and "new entry defect" of start-up social enterprises.Based on configuration and system thinking,215 start-up social enterprises in different industries and regions are selected, and a qualitative and quantitative fuzzy set is used for qualitative comparative analysis. Methods, using fs QCA3.0 software in data analysis,to explore how the conditional configuration composed of five conditions at the two levels of alliance network and organizational legitimacy affects the growth of social enterprises in the early stage,in order to find a number of feasible measures to improve growth performance.Paths to provide reference for different start-up social enterprises. The research conclusions show that, first, there are no necessary conditions for the high growth performance of start-ups.Second,there are 3 and 2 non-high-growth performance paths for start-up social enterprises.Third, the path that hinders the growth of start-up social enterprises and the path that promotes the growth of start-up social enterprises have asymmetric characteristics, that is,the opposite conditional configuration that leads to the high-growth path of start-up social enterprises will not lead to low-growth performance of start-up social enterprisesThe findings of this paper extend new perspectives on alliance networks and legitimacy to study the growth of start-up social enterprises. The diversity of growth paths of start-up social enterprises is discussed. The driving mechanism for the growth of start-up social enterprises is asymmetric, and the conclusion of low growth performance cannot be inferred according to the path of high growth performance. It expands the application of QCA method in the field of organizational management.have certain research value... |
