The Influence Of Dual Alliance Network On Firm Innovation Performance From The Perspective Of Social Network Theory

With the rapid development of enterprise renewal iteration and fierce market competition,the depth and breadth of enterprises’ demand for innovative resources are constantly increasing,and the form of alliance network formed by enterprises with different resources and knowledge advantages has become an important component of enterprises’ sustained long-term competitive advantage and development.The exploratory alliance network and the development alliance network between enterprises directly affect the network conventions formed among organizations and the innovation performance among alliance enterprises.Meanwhile,the organization’s ability to change and adapt to the internal and external environment and market will also affect the innovation performance of enterprises.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the influence of different alliance network forms on the innovation performance of enterprises through dual network practices and organizational adaptability,for enterprises to maintain their competitive advantage and sustainable development for a long time.Firstly,this paper sorts out the relevant theories and research status of alliance network forms,network conventions,organizational adaptability and enterprise innovation performance,summarizes the shortcomings and breakthrough points of existing research,divides alliance network forms into exploratory alliance networks and developmental alliance networks,and divides network conventions into exploration conventions and utilization conventions.Secondly,this study analyzes the influence of different alliance network forms on the innovation performance of enterprises from the perspective of organizational dualism.At the same time,dual network practices and organizational adaptability are successively introduced as intermediary variables,and a chain intermediary model of "alliance network forms-dual network practices-organizational adaptability-enterprise innovation performance" is constructed.Through hierarchical regression and Bootstrap test of 167 valid questionnaires.The results show that:(1)both the exploratory alliance network and the development alliance network among alliance enterprises are helpful to improve the innovation performance of enterprises;(2)exploring and utilizing conventions play a part of intermediary role between different alliance network forms and enterprise innovation performance;(3)organizational adaptability plays a partial intermediary role between different alliance network forms and enterprise innovation performance;(4)exploring conventions and utilization conventions respectively and organizational adaptability play a chain intermediary role in different alliance network forms and the action paths of enterprise innovation performance.Based on the above conclusions,it is proposed that alliance network enterprises should reasonably use different alliance network forms on the premise that they are compatible with the development of enterprises,and pay attention to the importance of dual network conventions to the innovation performance of enterprises,and make full use of the informal contracts and paradigms brought by them so as to enhance the ability of organizational change and adaptation and boost the improvement of innovation performance.
