| With the development of the market economy,enterprises are paying more and more attention to equity incentives,and the main reason for this is that the implementation of equity incentives can bring a series of positive effects.Firstly,equity incentives can effectively resolve or curb problems such as conflicts of interest between shareholders and operators.Secondly,equity incentives can mobilize the motivation of the incentivized employees to achieve improved corporate performance while completing the unlocking targets,providing an effective long-term incentive mechanism for the company.In order to better promote the development of equity incentives and improve the relevant theories,more and more scholars have joined the research on equity incentives,forming a common development and progress of theory and practice.However,there is still an equity incentive to fail to or have not met the expected situation.Based on the above background,this paper firstly outlines the research insights of domestic and international scholars on equity incentives;Next,the concepts and theoretical foundations that can be involved in equity incentives are explained;then with this in mind,a well-known domestic company,Jiu Yang,is selected as the case study for this research,and the basic situation of the company and its industry background are briefly introduced.The content and implementation of the program launched by Jiu Yang is then used as a basis to analyze the motivation for its implementation.At last,we analyze the change of corporate performance from the perspectives of motivation and the mechanism of the role of equity incentives.After studying the case study,it was found that the implementation of equity incentives in Jiu Yang has improved the business performance of the enterprise,generated a better market response,and promoted R&D activities,improved talent structure,but there are still shortcomings in stabilizing employees.Finally,the paper analyses Jiuyang shares incentive scheme and uses it as a basis to summarize the strengths and weaknesses of the scheme’s design and to suggest corresponding improvements to the weaknesses.All in all,in order to achieve better incentive effect,Jiu Yang should flexibly use the compound equity incentive model,diversify the performance assessment indicators and strengthen the constraints on the incentive object. |
