| In our country tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises,the vast majority are in the form of family business.Since the reform and opening up,the first batch of entrepreneurs have come to a critical stage where the second generation needs to take over.The second generation of successors in the new era are different from the older generation in terms of education level,business philosophy and other aspects.To some extent,they will also lay their own brand in the inheritance of family businesses and form development strategies suitable for the stable operation of enterprises in the future.Z Company,where I work,is a typical family business.Since its establishment in 1997,Z Company has developed from a small workshop that develops,produces and sells ultrasonic welding machines to a well-known sunshade machinery manufacturer in China after several transformations.Now,the company is also at the crossroads of generational inheritance and strategic transformation.In addition,affected by domestic and foreign economic downturn,industry competition and other internal and external factors,the company’s profit decline,transformation breakthrough is imperative.Therefore,this paper takes Z Company as the research object and SWOT as the main research method.Firstly,it analyzes the external environment of the company and sorts out its potential opportunities and threats.At the same time,the internal resources of the company and the resource advantages of the first and second generation of operators were evaluated.Finally,after integrating internal and external environmental factors,the problems and deficiencies of Z company were found,such as unclear development goals,backward mechanical products,urgent development of overseas markets,and old factories requiring scientific production management.According to SWOT matrix,several strategic types of corporate transformation are screened out.Finally,a combination of the above content,sorting out the vision and strategic transformation goal,to develop the medium and long term development for Z company’s overall business strategy and product differentiation strategy and the market,and provide a matching strategic safeguard measures,strive to achieve from shading machinery manufacturing factory research and development of small workshops to the processing of shading blinds intelligent processing enterprises.Z Company,as a typical small and medium-sized family enterprise of mechanical processing and manufacturing,is representative of its strategic transformation research.It is hoped that this research can provide effective reference for the strategic transformation and development of domestic enterprises of the same size,especially family enterprises. |
