| Currently,the application of digital technology in various industries in China is accelerating,and the impact of the development level of the digital economy on the Chinese economy is becoming increasingly prominent.The digital transformation of various industries has become an inevitable trend.The connection between the digital economy and traditional industries is particularly close,which undoubtedly brings new opportunities for the development of the logistics industry.The higher the level of digitization in the national economy,the higher the requirements for the logistics industry.The logistics industry,which is gradually playing an important role in the national economy,has become a key factor in the sustainable development of the national economy.Against this background,how can the digital economy promote the transformation of new and old growth moment um and empower the development level of modern logistics industry? What is the operating mechanism that affects the development of the logistics industry? Does the impact of the digital economy on the development of the logistics industry differ under different interests or different levels of logistics development? This article aims to explore the relationship between the digital economy and the development level of modern logistics industry,and provide useful policy guidance for logistics system construction.This paper firstly composes the theoretical basis related to digital economy and modern logistics industry,and proposes and analyzes the influence mechanism of digital economy on the development level of modern logistics industry from the connotation of modern logistics industry.Secondly,the objective assignment method is used to measure the development level of digital economy and the development level of modern logistics industry.Then a model is established for empirical testing.This paper firstly selects population density,economic development,fiscal expenditure,urbanization,openness to the outside world and financial development level as control variables to quantitatively analyze the influence of digital economy on the development level of modern logistics industry;subsequently,in order to improve the reliability of the analysis conclusion and solve the problem of model endogeneity,stability test is also conducted by changing the measurement method of digital economy development level.Next,a heterogeneity test is conducted on location advantage and logistics development level to explore the difference of influence effect under different development characteristics;finally,a mediating effect model is established to reveal the influence mechanism of digital economy on the development level of modern logistics industry and explore the mediating role of technological innovation,human capital investment and industrial structure rationalization.Through the empirical research,the following conclusions are mainly drawn: First,the overall development level of digital economy is good,but there is a great imbalance between regions.Secondly,the overall development level of China’s logistics industry is not high,and the national development status presents a "long tail" pattern,and the unbalanced and uncoordinated development between regions is prominent.Third,the digital economy significantly affects the development level of modern logistics industry,and there is heterogeneity of location advantages and heterogeneity of logistics industry development level.Fourth,the digital economy can promote the development of modern logistics industry through the intrinsic mechanism of promoting technological innovation,promoting social human capital investment and optimizing the rationality of industrial structure.In response to the above findings,this paper puts forward the following development suggestions: First,to strengthen the differentiated measures of digital economy cultivation and fine management to enhance the development level of digital economy.Second,to enhance the interconnection of regional logistics industry,to collaboratively manage all aspects of the logistics supply chain,and to promote the balanced development of regional flow industry.Third is to adapt to local conditions and help the digital economy to empower the development of modern logistics industry.Based on the influence mechanism test of intermediary variables,fully release the potential of digital economy and give full play to the spillover effect. |
