Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The Development Level Of Modern Service Industry

The "20th National Congress" proposed to promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy and build a new system of high-quality and efficient service industry,which indicates that the deep integration and development of the digital economy and the modern service industry has become an important path for improving the country’s competitiveness.The penetration of the digital economy into the modern service industry is accelerating,changing the basis for the existence of the service industry,especially under the situation of the overall global economic recovery,the impact of the digital economy on the development level of the modern service industry is becoming increasingly prominent.Under the new situation,studying the impact of the digital economy on the development level of the modern service industry is of great importance to both the modern service industry itself and the high-quality development of China’s economy.This paper takes the digital economy and modern service industry as the research object,and explores the impact of digital economy on the development level of modern service industry.Taking the panel vector autoregressive model as a theoretical method,the relevant data of the development level of digital economy and modern service industry in31 provinces in China are sorted out,and the panel model is constructed according to this,the impact of digital economy on the development level of modern service industry is empirically measured,and finally policy suggestions for promoting the high-quality development of modern service industry are put forward according to the empirical results.Firstly,the definition and basic characteristics of the digital economy are summarized,the development process,definition,characteristics and other concepts of the modern service industry are expounded,and the research objects are clarified.The relevant theoretical basis is discussed in detail,and the panel vector autoregressive(PVAR)model is elaborated,which paves the way for subsequent empirical research.Secondly,the evaluation index system of the development level of digital economy and the evaluation index system of the development level of modern service industry were constructed,and the entropy method was used to effectively measure and analyze the development level of digital economy and modern service industry.Thirdly,based on the data of 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China from 2011 to 2020,the empirical analysis of the panel vector autoregressive model constructed is used to quantitatively study the impact and interaction relationship of the digital economy on the development level of modern service industry in China as a whole and in the eastern,central and western regions.The results show that:(1)the impact of digital economy on the development level of modern service industry has weak exogenous impact,and basically relies on its own inertial development;(2)When they are affected by each other,the respective fluctuations of the modern service industry and the digital economy show the "U-shaped" characteristics of first falling and then rising;(3)The role of digital economy in improving the development level of modern service industry presents the heterogeneous characteristics of "depression" areas in the eastern> western > central regions.Finally,according to the empirical results,targeted policy suggestions were put forward,giving full play to the government’s active guiding role to promote differentiated development,continuously optimizing the development environment,and accelerating the research of key core technologies.
