Marx takes technology as an important clue to analyze various social phenomena in capitalist society.Therefore,the technological thought in Das Kapital exists in the form of analyzing the capitalist mode of production and its development law.In Das Kapital,Marx started his study of technology by analyzing the machine.In order to reveal the "secret" of capitalist production,Marx further explained the connotation of "technology" by analyzing the difference between "machine" and "tool" : Technology is the activity mode of human to transform the world,and discusses the practical attribute of technology and the productive force attribute,which lays a theoretical foundation for the formation of Marx’s view of technology.Marx’s technology thought always adheres to the world outlook and methodology of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,and is based on the development history of technology and human society.It not only points out the positive significance of technology,but also fully affirming the role of technology development in promoting the progress of human society.It also analyzes the negative impact of technology and criticizes the phenomenon of technology alienation caused by the capitalist application of technology: technology leads to the alienation of workers from the labor process and labor products;Technology leads to the dissimilation of human beings’ "kind essence";Technology leads to alienation of relationships between people;Technology leads to the alienation of the relationship between human and nature,and it is pointed out that the root of the alienation of technology lies in the capitalist application of technology.Marx’s objective elaboration of the value of technology and his deep criticism of the alienation of technology further pointed out that the essence of capitalist exploitation,the internal contradiction and the historical fate of inevitable demise hidden behind the phenomenon of alienation of technology.That is,we should realize that the real purpose of Marx’s writing Das Kapital is not only to investigate capital and technology itself,but also to sublate the alienation phenomenon in capitalist society and promote the realization of human liberation through the analysis of technology.The Marxist view of technology provides an important theoretical basis for us to deepen our understanding of the capitalist system in the new era,give full play to the important role of technology as productive force and further promote the realization of human liberation.
