| In the present days of fierce competition,the market reaction speed has become one of the core competitiveness of enterprises.The rise of distribution centers has brought new opportunities for enterprises and has been favored by all industries in recent years.C supermarket chain is a well-known international retail chain group,which provides fast moving consumer goods to customers in the form of chain hypermarket.C supermarket chain entered China in 1995.However,with the rapid development of e-commerce and the growth of offline competitors,the sales performance of C supermarket chain in China continues to decline.In order to cope with the fierce competition in China’s retail market,C supermarket chain has embarked transformation and has successively established 6 regional logistics distribution centers in recent years.The Northeast distribution center was set up in 2016,providing commodity distribution to 26 stores in northeast China.This paper firstly introduces the present situation of Northeast distribution center.Its inventory control is facing great challenges,which are low store order fulfill rate,high stock day and high inactive stock ratio.Analyze the causes of these problems respectively from the supply side,the demand side and internal management.Then come up with the measures of improving the supply side service rate,improving the forecasting accuracy and improving the internal business process.Finally,forecast the implementation effect of inventory control improvement from three aspects:store order fulfill rate,stock day and inactive stock ratio.The study in this paper not only improves the inventory control of C supermarket chain Northeast distribution center,but also provides good reference and guidance for relevant enterprises distribution centers inventory control work.It is beneficial to enrich the theoretical system of inventory control in the distribution center of chain supermarkets and facilitate further theoretical exploration. |
