At present, China’s auto industry’s production and sales growth momentum is still rapid, making Beijing Hyundai, Changan Ford, Shanghai Volkswagen and other well-known brands of large-scale construction and expansion, snatch more extensive market. And RDC(Distribution Center Regional, referred to as RDC), as a bridge between the procurement and manufacturing, to achieve large-scale and orderly production, reduce the high inventory of manufacturing enterprises is really work.RDC, serving as a link between the third party logistics companies and manufacturing industry, as a supplier to the distribution center, with the sending and receiving, storage and quick turnaround and so on many kinds of functions, given it great contribution to the manufacturing industry, therefore in recent years, along with the development of automobile, logistics, electronics and other large enterprises, derived from a very important logistics operation mode.It not only saves the cost of manufacturing enterprises management, personnel, equipment and materials, but also more rapid operation and convergence of supply and demand between suppliers and manufacturing enterprises, prompting more car manufacturing enterprises to entrust the third party logistics management RDC.In this paper, through the analysis of the problems existing in the logistics company Changan Hengyuan RDC inventory management, find the inventory problems using new scientific means to manage and control the inventory of existing problems and risks. First, take the ABC classification method in planning and procurement, the fast way to convey information, establishing information platform with suppliers, factories, all suppliers can timely and accurately receive from RDC and factory production information and inventory information, reasonable and timely delivery, and production can not only control their own energy in the control of transportation, greatly reduce the occupation of funds; secondly, using a variety of methods of lean production and Kanban management, at the same time using the automatic feeding system and package sorting system called RDC, accelerate inventory turnover of RDC distribution, continued under high inventory reduction and control; finally, the contrast analysis method. Optimization analysis of difference between the original logistics and logistics are obvious, obvious difference in cost, labor, time of logistics, cost and labor is greatly reduced. Low reduction, optimization of the situation is obvious. In the course of the study, the data of the RDC inventory management were compared and analyzed, the inventory control was significantly reduced, and the results showed that the implementation of the project achieved the expected results.
