With the rapid development of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation in the world, and the vigorous development of industrial innovation driven by digital technology, human society is rapidly entering the era of digital economy.Emerging industries are not only an important guiding force for China to seize the new opportunities of the scientific and technological revolution, but also a key focus for China’s industrial transformation and upgrading. However,China’s emerging industries are in a new stage of economic development and transformation, with problems such as small scale, low agglomeration and weak innovation ability,so they are facing more severe and arduous tasks. In this context, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the Outline of the Strategic Plan for Expanding Domestic Demand(2022-2035),which further promotes the development of national strategic emerging industrial clusters and becomes a breakthrough point for leading high-quality supply and creating new demand. In order to achieve the follow-up strategic goal of "improving the industrial ecology and promoting the development of emerging industry clusters",how to effectively identify the evolution mechanism and upgrade path of the system has become a problem to be solved in the face of the digital innovation ecosystem on which the development of emerging industries depends in the digital context.Based on the above practical background and domestic and foreign dynamic research and analysis, this paper studies the digital innovation ecosystem of emerging industries.Firstly,it defines the connotation, characteristics and structure of the digital innovation ecosystem of emerging industries.Using the multi-case analysis method, the evolution of the digital innovation ecosystem of emerging industries was analyzed, and it was identified that the system had gone through the exploration stage, construction stage and upgrading stage.Based on the evolution stage, the evolution process of the system is analyzed, and the evolution power of policy guidance, technology driving force and market pulling force, eight evolutionary influencing factors, and the evolution characteristics of the interaction boundary of the subject tends to be blurred, the system coupling level continues to improve, and the structural governance system is gradually improved.Secondly, according to the evolution mechanism of the digital innovation ecosystem of emerging industries, the upgrade path of the system is designed. The fuzzy set qualitative comparison method(fs QCA)was used to analyze the combination relationship of the influencing factors of evolution, and the resource collaboration-driven,context-oriented and multi-element embedding-driven configuration upgrade paths were constructed, and the composition and characteristics, applicable conditions and operation modes of the paths were analyzed. Then, choose the upgrade path of the digital innovation ecosystem of emerging industries.Based on the selection index system constructed by the system upgrade path, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method(FCE)is used to select the upgrade path. Finally, the new energy vehicle industry is selected for empirical research, the evolution process of the digital innovation ecosystem of the new energy vehicle industry is analyzed, the upgrade path suitable for the system is selected, and the path implementation strategy is proposed.Through the above research, this paper provides scientific theoretical guidance and decision-making support for promoting the sustainable innovation and development of emerging industries in China.
