| A series of uncertain factors,such as COVID-19 epidemic,trade friction,technical blockade,and international political conflict emerged one after another,which brought great challenges to the survival and development of enterprises.Therefore,how to respond to the change of external environment has become one of the significant issues that enterprises be obliged to solve imminently.The existing research shows that improvisation is an effective way for enterprises to deal with emergencies,survive crises and take advantage of opportunities.At the same time,enterprises are in a treacherous and unpredictable market environment.If they want to improve their performance level and build new competitive advantages,they need to be good at finding opportunities and making timely changes such as strategic layout adjustment,product design optimization and emerging market development.Therefore,strategic transformation has become the key choice for enterprises to seek new growth.Scholars at home and abroad are constantly enriching the related theories of enterprise strategic transformation,but the path analysis and mechanism research between organizational improvisation and enterprise strategic transformation are not yet mature.In addition,the external environment faced by enterprises at present is also characterized by duality—dynamism and munificence.On the one hand,under the dynamic external environment,these trends,such as the acceleration of knowledge and technology upgrade and the shortening of product life cycle,constantly put forward new requirements for the development of enterprises,requiring enterprises to respond in time to get rid of possible threats and make use of possible opportunities.On the other hand,with the improvement of the business environment in China’s market,the difficulty for enterprises to obtain some resources becomes smaller and the transaction cost decreases,which also has a certain impact on the business development of enterprises.To sum up,from the perspective of ambidextrous innovation and dual environment,this paper constructs the path research and mechanism analysis of organizational improvisation and enterprise strategic transformation.Through theoretical analysis and empirical test,the results show that:organizational improvisation has a positive impact on the implementation of corporate strategic transformation;organizational improvisation has a positive impact on exploratory innovation,exploitative innovation and ambidextrous innovation;exploratory innovation,exploitative innovation and ambidextrous innovation have a positive impact on strategic transformation;exploratory innovation,exploitative innovation and ambidextrous innovation all play a partial mediating role in the relationship between organization improvisational and strategic transformation;environmental dynamism is positively mediated organization improvisational and ambidextrous innovation,organizational improvisation and exploratory innovation;environment munificence negatively moderates the impact of ambidextrous innovation on strategic transformation of enterprises.The research conclusion of this paper refines the path of realizing enterprise strategic transformation from organizational improvisation from the perspective of ambidextrous innovation.And based on the analysis of the external environment,it explores the situational conditions for realizing strategic transformation from organizational improvisation.This paper provides theoretical support for the relationship between organizational improvisation,ambidextrous innovation and strategic transformation.While expanding the theory,it also provides important reference and enlightenment for enterprises to realize the practice of ambidextrous innovation and strategic transformation. |
