| After a long period of high-speed growth,China’s economic development has entered a new normal.The development in the new era and the new stage must be high-quality development,China’s economy needs to shift the focus of development from quantitative growth to quality growth.The promotion of economic growth quality should not only solve the problems of environmental pollution and resource mismatch caused by extensive growth in the past,but also overcome other dilemmas and challenges facing China’s development at the present stage.In a grim environment of multiple challenges,industrial restructuring is an effective way to improve the quality of economic growth.How to avoid the problems of industrial hollowing and homogenization,and how to plan the regional industrial structure by coordinating the factor resource endowment of different regions is the realistic demand for realizing the goal of "double cycle" and "common prosperity" at present.Based on the above background,this thesis studied the effect of industrial restructuring on economic growth quality.Firstly,from the aspects of technological innovation,green development,social harmony and common prosperity,the effect mechanism between them was expounded.Secondly,the industrial structure rationalization and upgrading index were constructed,the economic growth quality was measured by constructing the index system of green total factor productivity.Then,a fixed effect model was constructed to study the effect of industrial restructuring on economic growth quality,and an empirical analysis was made on the whole country and in different regions according to the economic development status of different regions.Finally,this thesis introduced the theory of spatial econometrics,constructed the spatial Durbin model containing fixed effects and studied the spatial spillover effect of industrial restructuring on regional economic growth quality.The results are as follows:(1)There is a significant mismatch between quantity and quality in our economic development,and the improvement of quality at present is mainly driven by technical efficiency.(2)Every 1%increase in industrial structure rationalization in high-quality development areas can bring 0.045%improvement in the economic growth quality,while 1%increase in industrial structure upgrading can only bring 0.065%;high-quality development areas have more reasonable allocation of factors,and developing new industries on the basis of higher industrial structure rationalization can avoid the appearance of industrial hollowing and industrial homogenization,so as to actively promote the increase of economic growth quality.(3)Every 1%increase in industrial structure rationalization in the low-quality development area leads to 0.294%increase in economic growth quality;the industrial structure of low-quality development areas is relatively simple and the industrial structure layout is not reasonable.However,forcing advanced development without reasonable support will expand problems such as poor allocation of factors,thus damaging sustained economic development.(4)The influence of industrial restructuring on regional economic growth quality exists significant spatial spillover effects.The improvement of industrial structure rationalization in local and neighboring areas can effectively promote the improvement of the quality of local economic growth,but also exists positive spillover effects on economic growth quality in neighboring areas.(5)Each 1%increase in the industrial structure upgrading will bring about a 0.1053%decline in local economic growth quality and a 0.1875%decline in national economic growth quality,without spatial spillover effects;further shows that coordinated economic development cannot be achieved without rational development of industrial structure.Only by achieving industrial structure rationalization,can we realize the upgrade of industrial structure,and then actively promote the thriving of economic growth quality. |
