Study On The Influence Of Industrial Structure Optimization And Upgrading In Northeast China On The Quality Of Economic Growth

In the 70 years since the founding of New China,not only has China achieved rapid economic growth,but its industrial scale has also expanded significantly.In recent years,the downward pressure on China’s economy has increased.How to adjust the industrial structure and achieve economic transformation and development is an important subject facing many researchers.After China’s economy entered the new normal,the extensive growth mode has promoted the institutional and structural problems formed in the development of Northeast China.The downward pressure on the regional economy has continued to increase,and economic development has attracted much attention.Transformation and structural adjustment have become major issues that need to be resolved at the current stage of economic development in the Northeast region.Therefore,how to optimize the industrial structure to improve the quality of economic growth is of great significance for promoting the economic development of the Northeast region.First of all,based on combing the changes in the industrial structure of the Northeast region,this article measures the level of industrial structure optimization and upgrading through the Theil Index and the H Index.The analysis results show that since the 1990 s,although the level of industrial structure rationalization and advanced in Northeast China has been continuously improved,the following problems still exist in the industrial structure: First,the industrial structure is low,and the proportion of traditional heavy industries is relatively high.Inadequate development of the tertiary industry.Secondly,the coordination ability among industries in Northeast China is weak,and the circulation of production factors is not smooth.Third,the level of modernization of various industries in the Northeast region is low,and the ability to innovate is not strong.Secondly,the related research on the economic development of Northeast China lacks the discussion and analysis based on the perspective of the quality of economic growth,so this article conducts related research from its broad connotation.On this basis,the global principal component analysis method is used to construct evaluation indicators,and then to examine the current economic operation status of the three provinces in Northeast China.The results show that although the quality of economic growth in Northeast China has generally improved since the 21 st century,there has been a risk of decline in recent years.This shows that the problems arising in the economic development of Northeast China have been continuously exposed.For a long time,the development model led by heavy industry and relying on investment-driven development is not conducive to future development,it is urgent to transform the economic development model and tap new economic growth momentum.Finally,this paper uses a systematic GMM estimation method to conduct an empirical analysis.Based on the two perspectives of industrial structure rationalization and advanced,this paper explores the impact of the two on the quality of economic growth in Northeast China.The Theil index and the H index are used to describe the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure in Northeast China.The quality of economic growth in Northeast China is evaluated by using the principal component analysis method by constructing a comprehensive evaluation system for the quality of economic growth.By constructing an econometric model,empirical research is conducted using relevant economic data of the three northeast provinces since 2000.The research results show that both the rationalization of industrial structure and the advancement of industrial structure have a positive impact on the improvement of the quality of economic growth in Northeast China,but the former has a significantly greater effect than the latter.Therefore,while improving the rationalization level and the advanced level of regional industrial structure,more attention should be paid to improving the rationalization level of industrial structure,give full play to the industrial base,geographical resources and policy support in northeast China,so as to improve the quality of economic growth in northeast China.
