| The high-quality transformation and development of China’s economy and the deepening of the supply side structural reform of the domestic insurance industry,the improvement of national insurance awareness and the expansion of insurance demand continue to stimulate the vitality of the insurance market.Meanwhile,the comprehensive application of information technology is promoting the establishment of new business forms derived from the traditional insurance industry.How to formulate development strategies under the new era,better grasp the opportunities and avoid risks is an important problem faced by major insurance companies and urgently needed to be solved.P Property Insurance Company,one of the property insurance companies with the longest history in China,has the characteristics of large scale,many institutions and wide coverage.Branch S belongs to P Property Insurance Company,the operation revenue up to 20 billion,which has a huge influence in the central and western of China.The thesis takes branch S of P Property Insurance Company as the research object,and formulates its corresponding development strategies and safeguard measures,which has a model leading role in the entire industry and great practical significance.The analysis theory used in the thesis includes PEST analysis method,Porter’s five forces analysis model,internal and external factors evaluation matrix,SWOT analysis,QSPM matrix analysis method.Firstly,the macro and industry environment of P Property Insurance Company S Branch were analyzed,and concluded that it faced five opportunities,including "the industry has high brand barriers,and the market competition pattern is relatively stable",and five threats,including "the regulatory authorities are increasingly strict in the supervision of the insurance industry";Through the research on the internal resources and capabilities of the company,five advantages such as "deep corporate culture and high brand awareness",and five disadvantages such as "insufficient online technical support and lack of digital capabilities" were finally obtained.Next,the thesis uses SWOT analysis method and QSPM matrix analysis method to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on the company’s development strategy candidate set.The result of SWOT strategic quadrangle shows that the company should choose WO type development strategy,that is,take advantage of opportunities and make up for disadvantages.The results of the QSPM matrix further indicate that the WO3 type development strategy of deepening the reform of its own profit model,promoting the transformation and upgrading of its business structure and seizing the commercial nonauto insurance market is more appropriate among the three candidate strategies;Based on the quantitative results,the thesis further improves the development strategy and longterm and short-term strategic objectives,that is,its strategic choice should adhere to the premise of deepening the reform of its own profit model and promoting the transformation and upgrading of business structure to commercial non-auto insurance expansion,strengthen the coordinated development of autonomy and emerging channel construction,meanwhile,it should be based on improving the construction of enterprise information technology system,strengthening the scientific and technological empowerment,and improving the operational efficiency and development advantages of enterprises,Promote high-quality transformation and development of enterprises.Finally,the thesis summarizes the strategic implementation paths of "optimizing business structure,adhering to innovation driven","deepening channel construction,innovating independent marketing" and "strengthening technology empowerment,improving operational efficiency".At the same time,it will focus on formulating the transformation action plan,establishing the innovation incubation mechanism,adhering to the channel integration development,promoting the customer manager mechanism,strengthening the talent team construction,strengthening the financial security support,improving the assessment,reward and punishment mechanism,and enhancing the risk management ability to define the safeguard measures,so as to ensure the effective implementation and smooth implementation of the above development strategies. |
