Xiamen branch is one of the 38 branches of A Property and Casualty Insurance Co.,Ltd.,which is also the largest non-life insurance company in Xiamen with the market share over 40%.In recent years,with the rapid increase of insurance companies,homogeneity competition by means of commissions and prices are increasingly intensifying.It is really worth further study on ways of accelerating development transformation,which enable A Insurance Company to win the game with total new strategy design when confronting market competition pattern and development trend of insurance market.In this background,this thesis takes A Property insurance company,Xiamen branch as the research object,manipulates the strategic positioning and strategic objectives of A Property insurance company in the next few years by using the relevant theories of strategic management with profound analysis of internal and external environment thorough analysis of internal resources and capabilities.Paths and measures for strategic goals has been defined,inner logic has been sorted out in order to form a set of strategic management and implementation system ranging from concept to the target,path,measures and management tools.The regional development strategy of keeping the pace with the times will anticipate the future development of the company and specific feasible strategic will boost its in-depth development of reform and development of various tasks.PEST analysis method is used firstly in this paper to analyze the detailed external environment of A insurance company Xiamen Branch from aspects of politics,law,macro economy,social environment,technology environment.Then,potter five models are used to comprehensively analyze competition environment of property-casualty industry in Xiamen.The main competitors insurance company B and C are analyzed as well a s hints on industry development trend are given from two aspects of market growth and profitability.Secondly,radar map analysis is used for analyzing the company's financial resources,human resources,social resources,network resources,customer resources and brand resources.Comparison analysis method is adopted to asset the company's services and sales ability,risk identification and control ability,operation management ability and profitability,etc.,On this basis,the SWOT analysis is applied to formulate the management strategy on the company's transformation,namely to speed up the transformation of development mode,establish value growth as the driving model for development,build up cost control as the core of profit model,set up intensive platform management mode,customer satisfaction oriented service model and resource capacity competition mode.Finally,six strategic moves shall be established to ensure the smooth implementation of business strategies.Namely,scientific decision system to be set up for improving the management level in differentiation,accurate market strategy to be introduced for improving the ability of sustainable development,efficient sales service system to be made for improving sales and service ability,excellent operation management platform to be build up for improving the level of fine management,a clear professional responsibility system to be formulated for improving risk identification and control ability,a solid organizational guarantee system to be formed for improving the ability of organization.
