In recent years,with the improvement of economic level and residents’ consumption level,the demand for the catering industry has also increased day by day.In this context,the chaining of catering brands has become the first choice for the development of many brands.From the successful experience of foreign fast food entering the domestic market,it can be seen that the scale effect of chain restaurants can provide great momentum for brand development.However,as the development of catering enterprises enters the fast lane,it is usually found that the grass-roots employees of chain catering stores play a major role in brand expansion.However,the domestic catering industry generally does not pay enough attention to grass-roots employees,which ultimately affects the long-term development and brand competitiveness of enterprises.Therefore,improving the high turnover of grass-roots employees in chain catering enterprises can effectively help the healthy development of enterprises.XB Catering Enterprise is a catering group that tried chain operation earlier in China and has continued to develop rapidly in the domestic market.After the successful listing,XB Catering Enterprise has further deepened its management advantages,made efforts to deploy multiple brands in the catering industry,and gradually built a multi-brand group company with an annual revenue of over 6 billion yuan.However,in the face of changes in the market environment and competition in the catering industry in recent years,XB catering companies are also facing the loss of grassroots employees,accounting for 80% of the total number of employees.All have little effect.In order to help enterprises solve the problems they are facing,the theoretical basis is established by consulting the relevant theories of domestic and foreign scholars on employee turnover intention,and then the various influencing factors of grass-roots employees’ turnover intention are thoroughly understood through questionnaire survey.Finally,the configuration of influencing factors of different turnover intention is obtained through fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fs QCA),so as to explore ways to improve the current situation of turnover rate of grass-roots employees.Through the research,we found three influencing factor configurations of high turnover intention and two influencing factor configurations of low turnover intention,combined with different configurations to analyze the key influencing factors of employee turnover,and proposed solutions to the employee retention problem in XB catering enterprises,hoping to provide some reference and reference for other catering enterprises to face the employee retention problem.
