| As a result of the constant advancement of science and technology,digital methods have been widely implemented in all facets of social and commercial operation.Commercial banks are not an exception to serving as a crucial center for social and economic growth.In particular,the retail business of commercial banks,which is a significant component of their primary business,possesses low risk,strong stability,minimal influence from economic cycle variations,and broad societal impact.How to fully integrate digital development into the retail business of commercial banks,and subsequently how to better promote the purpose of commercial banks to service the social economy,has become a topic of widespread concern among industry academics.This paper examines and evaluates the digital development state of FD bank’s retail business,using FD bank as the topic of study.Using the empirical analysis method and the systematic analysis of the annual report data from 2016 to 2021 disclosed by 32 commercial banks,including FD Bank,the evaluation model is constructed to evaluate the digital development effect of FD Bank’s retail business,summarize the relevant experience,clarify the deficiencies,analyze the root causes of the problems,and provide development recommendations.Through analysis and study,it has been determined that the digital development of FD bank’s retail business has had some beneficial benefits,but has not been able to entirely overcome its industry-behind status.In addition,it must work on digital platform functions,product promotion,customer management,scene financing,talent support,and other areas in order to enhance the level of subsequent development.Through this study,we intend to give corresponding support for the follow-up work of the digital development of FD bank retail business,provide strategic reference for the digital development of retail business of commercial banks,and contribute to the growth of commercial banks. |
