Development Strategies Of A Historical And Cultural Block Based On Tourism Experience Quality

With the development of economy,the facilitation of transportation and the upgrading of consumption,consumers’ pursuit and yearning for experiential products is becoming more and more prominent.In the era of experience economy,experiential tourism has become one of the important forms of tourism products,which is the inevitable product of the development of the times.Taking Shantou Small Park as an example,this study analyzes the tourism experience quality and existing problems of tourists in Shantou Small Park from the perspective of tourism experience quality,based on experience economy theory,and using the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire.The research shows that:(1)the average value of tourists’ experience quality of each dimension from high to low is as follows: physical experience quality,cultural experience quality,scenic spot characteristic experience quality,scenic spot reception experience quality and environmental atmosphere experience quality.The mean value of each dimension is lower than the median value,indicating that the tourism experience quality of Shantou Small Park needs improving;(2)The quality of tourism experience differs significantly by gender,age,occupation,education level,monthly income,tourism frequency,permanent residence and other factors of tourists;(3)Tourists’ physical experience quality,scenic spot characteristic experience quality,scenic spot reception experience quality,environmental atmosphere experience quality and cultural experience quality are positively correlated with tourists’ satisfaction and loyalty.The higher the quality of tourist experience is,the higher the tourist satisfaction with Shantou Small Park and the higher their loyalty it has.According to the research results,there are some development suggestions: improve the construction of transportation facilities in Shantou Small Park and increase the number of cultural experience formats in the core area;Strengthen all-round three-dimensional publicity and marketing promotion of Shantou Small Park.Improve the ecological development and construction of Shantou Small Park;Integrate the historical and cultural elements of the small park into the interactive project;Enhance the attraction of Shantou Small Park to different tourists.
