Research On Old-Age Care Of Rural Residents In Zhenlai County Of Jilin Province Under The Background Of Intergenerational Support Imbalance

With the development of social transformation and modernization,rural society is undergoing profound changes.The change of family pension concept and the infiltration of social pension culture make the intergenerational support of family gradually weakened,which directly affects the reform of the pension mode of rural residents and the play of the function of family pension.Therefore,this paper mainly stands in the background of intergenerational support imbalance to study the rural residents pension problems in Zhenlai County,Jilin Province.Taking Zhenlai County as an example,on the premise of introducing related concepts and theories such as rural pension and intergenerational support,this paper conducts a survey on the pension status quo of rural residents in Zhenlai county,Jilin Province,and analyzes the pension status quo and pension intention of rural residents combined with descriptive statistics of questionnaire survey results.Meanwhile,multiple Logistics regression models are used to analyze the influence of intergenerational support on rural residents’ willingness to care for the elderly.At the same time,combined with the social security in rural areas of Zhenlai county,local filial piety culture,children’s economic conditions and other analysis of the current deficiencies in rural pension,in view of the existing problems,put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions,and then provide reference for improving the quality of life of rural residents in Jilin Province.The study found that there are problems such as inadequate intergenerational support,imperfect construction of pension service system and weakening of pension security function for rural residents in Zhenlai county,Jilin Province.The main reasons are the impact of traditional pension model,serious gnawing behavior,weak pension foundation for local rural residents and lagging development of social pension.The empirical research results show that intergenerational support has a significant impact on the willingness of rural residents to care for the elderly.The more children support the elderly,the more likely they are to choose family care.In order to give full play to the family pension function in Zhenlai County and promote the development of social pension service industry,this paper proposes to build a good intergenerational support environment,vigorously carry forward the culture of filial piety,establish a perfect social pension security system and enrich the contents of rural pension services.This study has a practical guiding effect on the development of old-age service industry for rural residents in Zhenlai county and other areas.
