The No.1 Document of the Central Committee in 2023 clearly points out that we should expand the channels for farmers to increase their income and get rich, support farmers to find jobs or start businesses in or near their families, stabilize the employment of migrant workers, regulate and create new employment opportunities, and encourage the development of rural homestas and villages with rural characteristics that farmers use their own advantages to directly operate or participate in the operation. We will continue to integrate the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas. It can promote the increase of household income, the integration of rural industries and the large-scale development of agriculture. This paper takes farmers in Taocun Town,Yantai City,Shandong Province as the research object, selects 8 villages in Taocun Town as the sample survey area, obtains data through field investigation and questionnaire survey, and makes a descriptive analysis of the relevant characteristics,part-time employment and family income of sample farmers. It is found that low comprehensive quality of farmers, uneven distribution of family farmland, low agricultural production efficiency,part-time working environment are generally affecting the growth of household income of farmers in Taocun town.Using field survey data,SPSS software and multiple Logistic model, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the impact of part-time employment on household income. The analysis results show that: 1.Second,part-time employment of farmers in the tertiary industry has a significant positive impact on their family income. The stability of part-time employment has a significant positive impact on household income.Fourthly, the part-time employment support policies of the government or financial institutions have a significant positive impact on the household income.5.Non-agricultural and part-time households have a significantly positive impact on their household income than agricultural and part-time households.According to the above research findings: most farmers can increase their family income through part-time employment;Insufficient household labor or lack of vocational skills will prevent farmers from working together; The age, education level, health status, the number of labor force, the area of cultivated land and the distance between village and town center have significant effects on the household income. When farmers have part-time jobs, the influence of whether they are village cadres or do military service is no longer significant, because non-agricultural part-time jobs pay more attention to the improvement of professional skills.Suggestions: 1.Improve the comprehensive quality of farmers by enriching their sports life, improving their physical fitness, strengthening rural compulsory education, and paying attention to vocational education and training,so as to help them to work concurrently.Second,by strengthening the publicity of supporting policies for part-time jobs, developing the tertiary industry, promoting the stability of part-time jobs to create a good part-time job environment to provide employment opportunities.3.Improve agricultural land production efficiency and save agricultural labor force by improving land transfer mechanism and promoting agricultural social services such as land trusteeship.Fourth, through the promotion and improvement of rural social security system, guide the coordinated development of farmers’ part-time work and agricultural production activities, improve the production and living security of farmers.
