Research On The Impact Of Rural Industrial Integration On Farmers’ Income In Shaanxi Province

Rural revitalization has entered a new stage of comprehensive development,and the role of rural primary,secondary and tertiary industry integration is becoming increasingly obvious,and the 2022 central "No.1 document" on promoting rural revitalization pointed out that it is necessary to "focus on industry to promote rural development and continue to promote the integrated development of rural primary,secondary and tertiary industries",which shows that the integrated development of rural industries has been regarded as an effective way for rural revitalization.The integration of rural industries has given birth to a variety of new industrial forms,giving full play to the multi-functionality of agriculture,providing sufficient impetus for the economic development of rural areas and a new growth pole for farmers’ income.Discussing the impact of rural industrial integration on farmers’ income has certain significance at both the theoretical and practical levels.The article takes Shaanxi Province as the research object,sorts out domestic and foreign literature,and combines relevant theories and concepts to explain the mechanism of rural industry integration affecting farmers’ income.It analyzes in detail the current situation of rural industries,rural industry integration,and farmers’ income in Shaanxi Province.Based on the Panel data of 10 prefectures and cities in Shaanxi Province from2011 to 2020,the evaluation index system of rural industrial integration development was constructed using entropy method,and the level of rural industrial integration in various cities in Shaanxi Province was comprehensively evaluated.The spatial econometric model was used to empirically analyze the spatial effect of rural industrial integration on farmers’ income in Shaanxi Province.The results indicate that the level of rural industrial integration in various cities in Shaanxi Province has shown an upward trend over time,with regional heterogeneity and positive correlation in space;The integration of rural industries can have a positive impact on farmers’ income,and there is a spatial spillover effect;Human capital has the greatest overall effect on increasing farmers’ income,while business scale has a inhibitory effect on farmers’ income.Other control variables have varying degrees of promoting effects on farmers’ income growth.Finally,based on the regional spatial characteristics of Shaanxi Province,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed in five aspects: building a solid foundation for rural industrial integration,leveraging the agglomeration effect of industrial integration,strengthening rural human capital investment,exploring moderate scale operation in agriculture,and promoting the application of advanced scientific and technological achievements.
