Analysis On The Space-time Evolution Of Regional Economic Development Differences In Guangxi

Guangxi is the only province and region in western China with access to the sea.It is connected to Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao in the east and Southeast Asia in the west.Its geographical location and resource endowment are extremely competitive.The development of Nanning,Liuzhou and Guilin is ahead of other cities,and the problem of regional economic development difference is obvious.Therefore,this paper takes the Guangxi regional economic development difference as the research object,and studies the Guangxi regional economic development and the difference phenomenon.Based on a single index,this paper firstly analyzes the status quo of the economic development level of Guangxi as a whole and 14 cities in the region,and through the comparison with other provinces and cities in the region,the overall grasp of the status quo and differences of regional economic development in Guangxi.Secondly,the entropy weight TOPSIS method is used to comprehensively evaluate and analyze the regional economic development in Guangxi,and the main influencing factors of regional economic development differences in Guangxi are explored.Then it analyzes the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of regional economic development differences in Guangxi,and then explores the spatial distribution pattern and spatial evolution trend of regional economic development in Guangxi.Finally,from the perspective of regional economics,it analyzes the reasons for the regional economic differences in Guangxi,and forms a summary and suggestions.Through the analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The economic aggregate level of Guangxi is stable and making progress,but the economic growth rate is relatively low,the per capita economic aggregate is small,the industrial structure is unreasonable,and the urbanization process is slow.2)Economic benefits and the degree of opening to the outside world are the primary factors leading to the difference of regional economic development in Guangxi,and their influence on the difference is attributed to location conditions,policy environment,industrial structure and economic effect.(3)The development of different cities has the tendency of convex,shrinking or not obvious;The difference between high and low levels is obvious,the economic development lacks intermediate support,and the development of Nanning city has a "siphon effect".4)The absolute difference of regional economic development in Guangxi shows an upward trend,while the relative difference shows a downward trend;Economic development has a strong negative spatial correlation,and the heterogeneity type with high and low value aggregation occupies the main spatial distribution situation.According to the above conclusions,the suggestions are as follows:(1)to promote investment and consumption as the main direction of economic development,pay attention to the economic benefits of regional economic development and the degree of opening to the outside world;(2)According to the different development stages and levels of the city to establish their own economic development model,to build the intermediate support force of Guangxi’s economic development.(3)Strengthen the radiation and driving ability of Nanning’s economic development,promote the surrounding low-level cities to a higher level of development,and narrow the difference between high and low development.
