Research on regional resource environmental bearing capacity is one of the important contents of ecological civilization construction.Objective and correct evaluation on resource environmental bearing capacity of ecological zone of transition is of great practical significance,as it is a part of regional sustainable development and sustainable use.As the zone of transition from western Hubei to Jianghan Plain,Yichang dominates Bashu to the west and neighbors Jing-Xiang areas to the east.Therefore,it is a typical ecological sensitive zone.Research on its regional resource environmental bearing capacity will offer basic data and reference to the sustainable development and “Five-in-one” construction of the researched area even the whole Yangzi River Basin.In this context,based on former researches,the essay selects weighted improvement TOPSIS method as mathematical model,which could slightly be influenced by human factor,to build an assessment indicator system for regional resource environmental bearing capacity,including 19 assessment indicators such as EDA and RECC,etc.Taken Yichang as case study object,the essay makes comprehensive assessment on the resource environmental bearing capacity of Yichang in 2014 by means of state-space method at special scale,and makes comprehensive assessment on the resource environmental bearing capacity of Yichang from 2010 to 2014 by means of correlation analysis method at special scale.It also deals with the relationship among resource environmental bearing capacity,EDA and RECC.Finally,comment and suggestion for enhancing the regional resource environmental bearing capacity are made according to the assessment result.Research indicates:At time scale,the resource environmental bearing capacity of Yichang had been on the rising from 2010 to 2014,showing a positive correlation with the change of EDA,which indicated the fact that economic development was the main factor that influenced resource environmental bearing capacity of Yichang during that period.Combined with correlation analysis,it was mainly influenced by GDP per capita,urban per capita disposable income,and rural residents' per capita net income.At special scale,in 2014,resource environmental bearing capacity of Yiling was the highest,but its EDA indicator was not,which indicated that economic development doesn't have positive correlation with resource environmental bearing capacity,and RECC index also plays important function in resource environmental bearing capacity.It is known from the index data that discharge reduction of industrial wastewater,exhaust gas and smoke,and enhancing of the rate of multipurpose utilization of industrial solid waste plays an important role in promoting the resource environmental bearing capacity.
