Since 2020,the life insurance agent channel in the financial and insurance industry has ended its 30-year-long high growth,with negative results in the first year and a drop in the workforce from 10 million to less than 5 million.Effective training for practitioners to enhance their professionalism is an important issue for the industry’s upgrading and transformation.This article takes the specific enterprise of Aeon life as the research object,and analyses the training system of the company by applying theories related to human resource management and adult learning.The article provides an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems and proposes solutions.In terms of training design logic,the article outlines the competency model for insurance sales staff and marketing management,improves the content of the existing training system at three levels: core work motivation,work outlook and values,knowledge and skills,and proposes an upgrade plan to compensate for incomplete content in laws and regulations,cultural construction and professional belief education.Based on the theories related to adult training,the training forms including classroom exercises,market practice,case discussions,university certification learning and digital learning are enriched to enhance training efficiency;at the same time,an optimisation plan is proposed for the system and organisation of the training system.It also proposes upgrade solutions for the training system and organisational support.It sets out a standard model for the upgrading of the training system of Centennial Life,which is of reference for the construction of training systems of similar life insurance companies.
