Measurement And Evaluation Of High-quality Economic Development In Qinghai Province

In recent years,the strategy of high-quality economic development has gradually become an important direction of the transformation of the mode of economic development in each province.The 20 th CPC National Congress in 2022 clearly pointed out that high-quality development is the essential requirement of Chinese-style modernization,which has become the theme of current economic development.The realization of the goal of high-quality economic development has also become an important research topic of all sectors of society in Qinghai Province.Based on this,we must grasp the present situation of Qinghai Province’s high quality economic development,and based on the development process,scientifically promote Qinghai Province’s high quality economic development.Based on the research trends of high-quality economic development at home and abroad,this paper summarizes scholars’ understanding of the meaning of high-quality economic development and the main ways of empirical analysis at the present stage,explains economic development,new development concepts,related concepts of high-quality economic development and elaborates the corresponding theoretical basis.On this basis,the current situation of high-quality economic development in Qinghai Province is analyzed from three aspects: economic development,social life and ecological environment.By constructing an evaluation index system,the entropy method is used to measure and analyze the relevant data collected from Qinghai Province and other four northwestern provinces during 2012-2021.This paper expounds the differences between Qinghai Province and other four northwest provinces in the process of high quality economic development from the overall and sub-dimension aspects.The study shows that the overall score of high-quality economic development in Qinghai Province keeps improving,and the development prospect is in a good direction.From the comprehensive score of all dimensions,the current problems of high-quality economic development in Qinghai Province are insufficient innovation,prominent contradiction of coordinated development,serious environmental damage,low degree of open development and inadequate sharing level.Based on the causes of the problems,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from five aspects: creating an innovative environment,developing rural characteristic industries,strengthening the supervision of relevant departments,creating Qinghai name cards and improving infrastructure construction.
