In recent years,trust industry in China has risen rapidly,but under the guidance of supervision,the past business pattern of trust companies is changing.At present,the trust industry in China is in the period of industry restructuring.Each trust company has deployed innovative businesses such as securities investment,family trust,and service trust.The trust industry is in the process of accelerating transformation.However,the transformation effect of each trust company is very different,and the characteristics of industry differentiation are obvious.Some trust companies have not yet formed a clear direction of transformation and development,the exploration of innovative businesses has been slowly promoted.At this stage,it is urgent for trust companies to plan their business layout based on their own characteristics and endowments and adjust their business product portfolio accordingly.How to find new profit growth points through differentiated development is still a huge challenge,especially for small and medium-sized trust companies.This paper takes X Trust Company as the research object,analyzes the current situation,problems,causes and optimization countermeasures of its trust business development.This paper first introduces the business environment and business data of X Company’s trust business,expounds the classification of its trust product line and carries out the corresponding life cycle analysis to clarify the industry development prospects of the trust business unit.Then,the trust products of X Company are classified through the Boston matrix to clarify the strategic position of various trust business units of X Company.On this basis,combined with the business data of X Company over the years and the trust industry data,the gap between X Company and the industry development is analyzed by horizontal comparison,the problems and shortcomings of its product line are discussed,and the reasons are analyzed.Finally,the optimization suggestions and supporting measures of X Company’s product portfolio are proposed.Trust companies cannot develop without products.Company X has some problems,such as a lack of variety of traditional business products,the need to strengthen the competitive advantage of growth business,and the lag in the construction of innovative business product lines.The main reasons for these problems are insufficient momentum for the transformation of traditional business products,channelization of growth business product,and insufficient investment in R&D and capital for innovative business.In response to the problems existing in the trust business of Company X,this article proposes that Company X should adhere to the principles of foresight,applicability,and gradual progress,not only giving full play to the advantages of traditional business,but also highlighting the importance of innovative business.Company X should actively optimize the product structure layout through diversified development of traditional businesses,vertical extension of growth businesses,and differentiated development of innovative businesses.At the same time,Company X should improve team building and incentive mechanisms,accelerate the development of financial technology,and build a comprehensive risk management system to enhance the company’s innovation level and profitability.The research in this article is beneficial for Company X to grasp internal and external environmental conditions,form a more objective and comprehensive judgment,lay a solid foundation for promoting business innovation and transformation of the company.At the same time,it enriches the application of relevant theories in the field of trust business to a certain extent.
