China’s remarkable achievements,ranking second in the world in gross domestic product,have been achieved through years of reform and opening-up.At the same time,vast amounts of wealth have been accumulated and the market for private wealth is expanding dramatically.With the accumulation of wealth and the rapid improvement of education level,a series of wealth management policies have been implemented,greatly stimulating residents’ demand for wealth management.G Securities Hunan Branch is the focus of this article’s research.Interviews with personnel from the branch,combined with the current state of G Securities Hunan Company’s wealth management business,revealed a fragmented industry,inadequate wealth management products,inadequate incentives for staff,and an insufficient combination of online and offline wealth management.the four major strategies for the optimization of the wealth management business of the branch were proposed.First of all,we will establish an organizational structure based on wealth management business in our branches.The second is to improve the wealth management business process of the branch according to modern portfolio theory.The branch’s wealth management business is long-term developed through a talent training plan and assessment mechanism.Moreover,the branch scientifically integrates and utilizes the group’s internal resources to enhance the channel construction of the wealth management business.As the commission rate of securities companies continues to diminish and fund investment advisers are brought in,securities companies should persist in creating the second growth curve of wealth management.This paper seeks to provide guidance for G Securities Hunan Branch’s optimization of wealth management,as well as to serve as a reference for other financial institutions in the industry.
