| Rural elites are regarded as a key group in rural communities, which play an important role in community development.Based on Lefebvre’s spatial production theory, the tourism spatial practice behaviors of the rural elites were studied from three dimensions: tourism physical space, tourism social space, and tourism significance space in this paper, which believes that the practice of rural elite tourism space is essentially a phenomenon of tourism space production. The Sanhe hand-painted town was selected as a research case in this paper. In recent years, the local tourism industry of Sanhe town has developed by relying on good ecological and traditional village resources, and has become a well-known characteristic rural tourism attraction. The relevant data on various social elites involved in various dimensions of the production of tourism space in Sanhe hand-painted town were collected and analyzed through interviews. Moreover, the interview data were analyzed through coding method,it is found that various elites, except political elites, have different production "preferences" for various dimensions of tourism space. In addition, the formation path of various dimensions of tourism space was analyzed and studied. The results show that the collaborative production of political and economic elites dominates the formation of tourism social space, while the collaborative production of political and socio-cultural elites dominates the formation of tourism physical space and tourism significance space, which contributing to the benign evolution of the original space of Sanhe town into tourism space. These results are basically consistent with the production "preferences" of various elites in various dimensions of tourism space obtained through coding analysis. The phenomenon of this benign evolution is formed by the superposition of the organization and working mechanism of the Party and government in rural areas and the capital heterogeneity and the personal characteristics of elites,as well as the trinity of village sentiment. On the other hand, the production practices of multiple elites in the case town were analyzed and studied.Different levels of spatial production practices have led to the evolution of defective original spaces into relatively benign tourism spaces. It indicates that the realization of multi-dimensional and justice goals in tourism spatial production requires the collaborative participation of diverse rural elites, which is also a concrete manifestation of the supporting role of talents in the process of rural revitalization. Finally, the "elite preference" behaviors existing in the formation of tourism space in Sanhe town were summarized and analyzed,it found that this phenomenon is the optimal path for rural tourism cases similar to Sanhe town in the early stages of tourism development, and it is also the starting and transitional stage from elite dominance to mass codominance. |
