Research On The Strategic Thought Of Regional Economic Development Of The CPC Since The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China

As a large developing country with a vast territory and obvious development disparities between regions,regional economic is of great importance to economic and social development and the promotion of socialist modernization.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China has always adjusted its strategic thinking on regional economic development at important historical points based on China’s national conditions and according to the needs of economic and social development in different historical periods,so as to make it conducive to the realization of coordinated regional development.However,due to the differences in geographical location,economic development,and policy orientation,the problems of unbalanced and insufficient regional economic development in China are still prominent,such as unbalanced development in the East and West,excessive urban-rural development gap,and prominent economic vulnerability in special types of regions.Based on this,this paper uses the methods of literature research,dialectical materialism and historical materialism,takes the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development as the research object,and is based on the Marxist regional economic development theory.By systematically reviewing the evolution of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,summarizing the logical framework of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development,and putting forward the prospect of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development.Through the study,this paper divides the evolution of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development since the founding of the People’s Republic of China into three stages: the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development during the period of socialist revolution and construction(1949-1978),the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development during the new era of reform and opening up and socialist modernization(1978-2012),and the CPC’s strategic thought of regional coordinated development in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics(2012-present).Then,based on this division,the main elements and practical effects of each stage of development strategy are objectively analyzed.Based on an in-depth study of the evolution of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development,this paper makes the following points:First,this paper analyzes the logical framework of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development.The theoretical logic is summarized as follows: the Marxist theory of regional economic development provides the theoretical foundation,the Western regional economic theory provides the experience,and the excellent Chinese traditional culture provides the ideological core.The historical logic is summarized as follows: the exploration of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development during the socialist revolution and construction period,the innovation of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development during the new period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization construction,and the improvement of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The practical logic is summarized as follows: based on China’s national conditions as the practical basis,adhering to the practical principle of taking the people as the center,and achieving common prosperity as the practical goal.Secondly,this paper proposes the prospect of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development,and believes that guiding China’s regional economic development in the new era should adhere to the combination of overall planning and coordination with local conditions,adhere to the maximum effectiveness of the central and local governments,adhere to the dual mechanism of market regulation and macro regulation,adhere to constantly optimizing and improving the strategic objectives of regional economic development,adhere to the organic combination of promoting regional economic development and ensuring fairness and justice.The innovation of this paper is that the Communist Party of China is regarded as an important factor influencing the practice of regional economic development,and the logical origin of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development and regional economic development practice is explored.At the same time,the logical structure of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development is refined and summarized,and the theoretical logic,historical logic and practical logic of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development are discussed in detail.The significance of this paper is that it enriches the study of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development and makes a contribution to the improvement of the system of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development.Taking the evolutionary history and practical effects of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development as a guide,it puts forward the prospect of the CPC’s strategic thought on regional economic development.
