With the rapid progress of Science and technology, digital technology has deeply affected the production and sales mode of trade in services, providing unprecedented opportunities for the development of digital trade in our country, and it plays an important role in improving our country’s export competitiveness. As a new industry in trade in services, the focus of world trade has gradually shifted to trade in digital services, the optimization of the industrial structure has played an important role in promoting. The formal implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)in January 2022 is a major opportunity for China to go global. It is also a promising starting point for Asia’s vigorous economic development and an important beginning of opening up the economic landscape. It is of vital significance to China. The signing of the RCEP has not only promoted the formulation of rules on digital trade, but also made it clear in the agreement that the development of digital service trade should be treated with a more open attitude. It is very necessary to start a study on the competitiveness of Chinese and RCEP trade in digital services in order to better promote cooperation with RCEP partners and improve China’s position in Asian and even international markets. This paper takes the factors affecting the competitiveness of digital service trade between China and RCEP as the research object.Firstly, the unilateral and bilateral status quo of digital service trade between China and RCEP is sorted out. Then,MS,RCA and TC are adopted to analyze the international competitiveness of digital service trade between China and RCEP partner countries in general and in different sectors. Then, the fixed-effect model is constructed, and the regression analysis is carried out to analyze the factors affecting the competitiveness of China’s import and export RCEP national digital service trade. Finally, targeted policy suggestions are put forward based on the current situation and influencing factors of bilateral digital service trade.Based on the analysis of the current situation of digital service trade between China and RCEP countries,it can be seen that the digital service trade between China and RCEP countries is on the rise, with the import volume slightly higher than the export volume, and the import and export volume is most closely related to Japan, and the import and export industry is mainly dominated by other commercial services.According to the calculation of MS,RCA and TC,the competitiveness of RCEP countries in trade with China is gradually increasing, but there is a large gap in the index of competitive advantage between the RCEP countries. After analyzing the regression results,it is found that the promotion factors of bilateral digital service trade between China and RCEP countries mainly include per capita GDP,urbanization level, promotion of related industries and foreign direct investment, among which per capita GDP and urbanization level have a positive promoting effect on service trade competitiveness of the six industries. Finally, according to the conclusion, the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions:(1)build an inclusive and pragmatic platform for trade in digital services, and enhance the regulatory capacity of digital networks;(2)strengthen the construction of digital infrastructure and promote the level of informationization;(3)strengthening cooperation among the countries along the “Belt and Road” to improve the Urbanization by country of RCEP countries;(4)improve the system of regional digital trade rules, grasp the initiative;(5)to give full play to the competitive advantages of the ICT services sector and promote the development of other digital services trade sectors with“Little effort” To further promote the development of digital services trade between China and RCEP countries to provide a scientific basis.
