The problem of rural old-age care is not only related to the well-being of individual farmers and families,but also related to the overall development and progress of rural society,and it even relates to the harmony and stability of the country and the nation.To solve the problem of rural pension is closely linked with the rich background,in spite of this,the present stage of our rural pension on the key problem still lacks a unified and effective solution,the experience is also very lacking.This paper investigates the willingness of rural residents in Shangshui County of Henan Province to choose pension mode through questionnaire survey,this study analyzed various factors in the selection of pension methods for local rural residents,and screened out 12 independent variables derived from individual,economic,family,pension cognition level and other factors.On this basis,This paper further discusses the role of the above factors in the selection of three different pension modes of rural residents: family pension,community pension and institutional pension.In terms of research methods,multiple logistic regression analysis was carried out,and targeted countermeasures and suggestions were put forward according to the regression results,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)Through field interviews and surveys,it is learned that most of the elderly in rural areas of Shangshui County are empty-nesters and left-behind elderly with low educational level and a large proportion of young people go out for work.Under the influence of individual,family,economic level and other characteristics,rural residents tend to choose the traditional family-centered way of old-age care,but the children less accompany,lack of life care,spiritual lack of comfort and other problems are still the main problems facing rural old-age care.(2)Based on the survey data and empirical analysis results,the following con clusions are drawn: The selection of three different pension modes by rural reside nts in Shangshui County is not significantly affected by the physical condition of individual factors and the living condition of family factors,the rural residents who prefer family pension have the following characteristics: female,aged 71 to80 years old or above,education level of primary school or below,occupation of farming,marital status is married,the main source of income depends on thems elves,participate in social pension insurance,think economic difficulties are the b iggest problem facing the pension,and think that the pension depends on their c hildren;Rural residents who tend to choose community pension have the followin g characteristics: male,aged between 61 and 70 years old,junior high school ed ucation,marital status as the widow,the number of children is 2,participate in s ocial pension insurance,think that the biggest problem facing the pension is econ omic difficulties and rely on their own;The rural residents who tend to choose t he institutional pension model have the following characteristics: male,aged betw een 50 and 60 years old,with a high school education or above,non-farming oc cupation,unmarried marriage status,and did not participate in social pension insu rance.They think that the biggest problem facing the pension is unattended life or lack of spiritual comfort.(3)According to the results of investigation and empirical analysis,four specific suggestions are put forward for rural old-age care in Shangshui County,including:attaching importance to the basic role and function of family old-age care;Promote the development and innovation of community pension model;We will improve government policies on old-age support and assistance;Construct a diversified system of rural comprehensive pension model.
