With the reform of the market economic system and the deepening of economic globalization,significant changes have taken place in many aspects such as the supervision and management of the financial industry,reform and innovation in the science and technology industry,bringing new opportunities to the development of commercial banks,and their internal control is also facing new challenges.In the context of constantly changing financial regulatory policies and requirements in China and increasing punishment,the cost of commercial banks’ violations has greatly increased,and the pressure on internal risk control is also increasing.After the slowdown in economic growth,the external risks faced by commercial banks have also greatly increased,such as the concentration of thunderstorms of non-performing loans and the increasing risk of external fraud,which have made the situation faced by commercial banks’ internal control management increasingly not optimistic.In addition,during the period of transformation and upgrading,commercial banks and the operation of financial technology also have higher requirements for internal control.Nowadays,commercial banks are facing the dual pressures of business development and risk prevention.How to scientifically improve the internal control system and strictly control operational risks on the basis of ensuring sustainable development has become an urgent problem to be solved.This article uses J Commercial Bank N Branch as an example to introduce the current situation of J Commercial Bank N Branch’s internal control environment,risk assessment,control activities,information and communication,and internal supervision.Through surveys,interviews,questionnaires,and other forms,it analyzes various problems,identifies weaknesses in the internal control system,and studies countermeasures and optimization strategies.This article elaborates from seven parts.The first part is an introduction,mainly introducing the research background and significance of this article,as well as the research status at home and abroad.The second part is about the concepts and theoretical basis of internal control in commercial banks.The third part mainly introduces the basic situation and internal control overview of J Commercial Bank N Branch.The fourth part mainly summarizes and analyzes the investigation results of the internal control problems of J Commercial Bank N Branch.The fifth part is the improvement measures of internal control of J Commercial Bank N Branch.The sixth part mainly introduces the implementation guarantee of internal control optimization of J Commercial Bank N Branch.The seventh part summarizes the full text and prospects the future development of internal control in commercial banks.The research results of this article can improve the internal control system construction of J Commercial Bank N Branch,enhance its risk prevention ability,help J Commercial Bank N Branch effectively avoid possible risks,and also provide reference and reference for other financial institutions in the same industry to improve their internal control system.
