Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy Development On China’s Export Trade

At present,there has been a digital boom around the world,and digital technology is undergoing rapid development and fully penetrating into the economy and life.The deep integration of the digital economy and international trade to promote common development between the two countries has become a common goal of global economic growth,international trade and cooperation to promote coordinated development.The 19 th Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee stated,"Develop the digital economy,promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy,and firmly build a digital China." In this regard,it is very important to study the internal relationship between the development of the digital economy and China’s export trade,and analyze the impact of the development of the digital economy on the export trade of various provinces in China.Firstly,through a series of documents,this thesis discusses the connotation of the digital economy,summarizes the indicators for measuring the development of the digital economy,and analyzes the impact of the development of the digital economy on export trade from three levels: countries,companies,and impact channels.Then,we gave a factual description of the development of the digital economy and the current situation of China’s export trade,and estimated and analyzed the development of the digital economy.Secondly,on a theoretical level,explain how the development of the digital economy affects export trade,study the intermediary effect mechanism and commercialization threshold effect mechanism of industrial structure modernization and technological innovation,and then propose four relevant research hypotheses based on relevant theories.In the empirical analysis,a single fixed effect model is used to analyze the impact of the development of the digital economy on China’s export trade,and heterogeneity tests are conducted in three major regions,namely the eastern and central regions.Considering the possibility of endogenous factors,a two-step regression was conducted using the instrumental variable method,and robustness testing was conducted by modifying the measurement method and sample interval of the explanatory variables.Finally,intermediate effects and threshold regression models are used to study the mechanical effects of industrial structure modernization,technological innovation,and commercialization processes,respectively.After theoretical analysis and empirical research,four conclusions are drawed : First,there are some differences in the development level of the digital economy in our region,with the growth trend in the eastern region being significantly higher than that in the central and western regions;Secondly,the development of the digital economy will greatly promote China’s export trade,with the central region playing the most important role,followed by the eastern and western regions.Although this is easy,it is not important.Thirdly,the development of the digital economy can have a positive impact on export trade through the modernization of industrial structure and technological innovation;Fourth,the development of the digital economy has a single threshold effect on export trade,with a threshold value of4.14.When the marketing level is below the threshold value,the impact coefficient is greater than when it is above the threshold value.Based on the above conclusions,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed as follows: First,optimize the development pattern of the digital economy and promote supporting areas.Secondly,the focus is on consolidating the construction of digital infrastructure and continuously improving the regional digital environment.Third,strengthen communication,establish good rules for digital commerce,and cultivate a new driving force for the digital economy.Fourth,accelerate the upgrading of industrial structure,strengthen technological innovation,fully tap the development potential of the digital economy,and promote the development of export trade.
