Export Trade,Technological Innovation And Upgrading Of China's Industrial Structure

The proposal and development of “the Belt and Road” build a good platform for China and other countries to be closely related on economy,and the China's foreign trade has also made remarkable achievements,playing an important role in the development of global economy.However,in the context of the economic interests of all countries in the pursuit of the global value chain,China's products are at the low end of the global value chain for a long time due to their low added value and low technology content.Therefore,under the condition of the open economy,studying the upgrading of China's industrial structure is particularly important.This paper summaries the existence of the interaction between export trade and industrial structure based on export trade,technological innovation and the theory industrial structure upgrading,namely,export trade can push technological innovation through export with learning,competition effect and demonstration effect,and technological innovation drives the development of export trade under the action of technology gap,life cycle and R&D investment.Then the author concludes seven transmission mechanism of how the interaction between the export trade and technological innovation upgrades the industrial structure,including stimulating the consumption structure,improving the structure of elements supply,improving labor productivity,the transformation of traditional industries,promoting new industries,the role of industry radiation,and enhancing international competitiveness.Next,according to the theoretical analysis,the author draws scholars of the past experience and combines the knowledge production function and Cobb Douglas production function,and on the basis of the data processing method to construct the measurement model based on the panel data from 2004 to 2015 the country's 31 provinces,using the static panel fixed effect and moment estimation for dynamic panel generalized system(GMM)to confirm that the interaction between export trade and technological innovation plays a positive role in promoting the upgrading of industrial structure,which is consistent with the rationalization direction of the upgrading of industrial structure.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and empirical researches,this paper puts forward corresponding policy recommendations for upgrading China's industrial structure from three aspects,namely,export trade,technological innovation and industrial policy.
