| Companies are entering an era of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity("VUCA"),the gradual and unexpected risks of market competition, technological changes and new crown epidemics pose a great challenge to business continuity. In this context, some companies have chosen to embrace digital technology and have been able to grow and thrive.Digitalization has become a key driver for companies to adapt and rebound in a complex, volatile and uncertain environment.King Med Diagnostics is the leading independent medical laboratory in China.Throughout its history,King Med Diagnostics has repeatedly demonstrated exceptional responsiveness in a highly dynamic and competitive market environment, giving the company a head start and a competitive advantage in the market. In this thesis,we focus on the core issue of "Digital Intelligence Empowering Rapid Response of King Med Diagnostics",and through a longitudinal case study of King Med Diagnostics,we focus on and identify the phase characteristics of King Med Diagnostics’ s rapid response under sudden change situations, and explore the key role of Digital Intelligence Empowerment in King Med Diagnostics’ s rapid response to environmental changes. The study found that under the three phases of sudden changes in external environment,i.e.normalized environmental turbulence, normalized environmental threat and crisis-type dramatic environmental change, the rapid response pattern of King Med Diagnostics was divided into three types of "Situation-Cognition-Action" by time dimension: passive response, proactive foresight and proactive leadership.Evolution type.As a "process" concept,Digital Intelligence Empowerment is the key means to achieve and sustain the evolution of rapid response speed and quality. The main purpose of this thesis is to study the theoretical aspects of digital intelligence.Through this thesis,we hope to enrich the theory of rapid response in sudden change environment in terms of theory;in terms of practice,we hope to provide a reference for the path to realize rapid response for latecomer enterprises and provide a realistic basis for the dynamic evolution of rapid response. |
