Research On The Driving Factors Of SMEs In Ho Chi Minh City To Fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility

Since the 1990 s,with the further improvement of economic benefits,corporate social responsibility has begun to receive attention worldwide.At the same time,Vietnam has also followed the trend of the world economy and has begun to pay more attention to corporate social responsibility.Vietnam has used different means to promote corporate social responsibility,but due to various factors,it has not achieved significant results.Cases such as the illegal discharge of sewage and polluted rivers by Taiwan Weidan Company in Vietnam,and Pouyuen Company ignoring epidemic prevention requirements in order to meet the needs of production and operation,all reflect the current shortcomings of Vietnamese enterprises in fulfilling social responsibilities.Among all kinds of enterprises in Vietnam,the importance of SMEs has gradually become prominent,and their role in social and economic development has become increasingly prominent.This paper takes the small and medium-sized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City as the main research goal,studies the problem of fulfilling social responsibility in Ho Chi Minh City,analyzes the current situation of fulfilling social responsibility in Ho Chi Minh City,and conducts model analysis based on its driving factors,and proposes corresponding measures to improve it according to the analysis results.Based on the existing research,this paper sorts out the main contents of the social responsibility and driving factors of SMEs in Ho Chi Minh City,and combines the hypothesis and model establishment to conduct a statistical analysis of the hypothesized variables through questionnaires.There are deficiencies in responsibilities,which are mainly manifested in insufficient undertakings by enterprises and inadequate protection of employees’ rights and interests.The reasons for the above problems are that the local government has insufficient supervision of enterprises,enterprises have not established corresponding concepts,and employees lack awareness of rights protection,etc.,and put forward suggestions based on this: SMEs in Ho Chi Minh City should not only play a role in the supervision and restraint of the government to fulfill their social responsibilities.At the same time,it is necessary to enhance the supervision role of social organizations,thereby enhancing the enthusiasm of local SMEs to fulfill their responsibilities.Based on the current situation of SMEs’ fulfillment of social responsibility in Ho Chi Minh City,this paper improves the existing problems and can provide more reference and reference for more Vietnamese SMEs to help them better fulfill their social responsibilities.
