| In the context of the new normalization of the economy coupled with the continuous recurrence of the epidemic,China has begun a major domestic cycle,the domestic and international double cycle of the economic model,although in the international situation is more volatile situation to be dominated by the domestic cycle,but as one of the economic development troika of foreign trade is still an important source to help economic development.In the context of the global economic downturn,oil prices continue to fluctuate,the United States in order to hold on to the hegemonic position of the U.S.dollar in the world,the Federal Reserve continues to raise interest rates to ensure that the dollar exchange rate continues to be high,countries have to take trade protection to prevent the outflow of dollars,resulting in a decline in trade exchanges between countries around the world,the international trade situation is very serious;coupled with the blockade of the Western countries led by the United States,China and the major trading countries continue to have friction.Foreign trade even experienced negative growth around 2016,and under these conditions,cross-border e-commerce grew against the trend,with China’s cross-border e-commerce market size of 14.2 trillion yuan in2021,up 13.6% year-on-year from 12.5 trillion yuan in 2020.With export trade hampered,cross-border e-commerce is expected to become a new driver of foreign trade development.Firstly,the thesis takes the background of cross-border e-commerce influencing the development of China’s foreign trade as the starting point and composes the current research results of scholars at home and abroad on the relationship between cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade and the influencing factors;secondly,it lays the foundation for the analysis based on the basic concept discussion of cross-border e-commerce and related theories such as factor endowment and transaction cost;thirdly,it elaborates the basic introduction of crossborder e-commerce and analyzes the relationship between cross-border e-commerce and Fourthly,the impact of cross-border e-commerce on China’s foreign trade is analyzed from the direct level of cost reduction and efficiency improvement,and the indirect level of lowering the threshold and promoting the construction of free trade zone;finally,a VAR model is used to test the empirical evidence of e-commerce transactions,foreign trade transactions,processed goods exports and service trade exports,and the lag of the model is determined based on the AIC quasi-measure.The final results of the empirical test are obtained.The results show that the development level of cross-border e-commerce has a positive impact on the development level of China’s foreign trade,industrial exports and service trade,and the variance decomposition shows that the contribution of the development level of crossborder e-commerce to the development level of China’s foreign trade,industrial exports and service trade has a high proportion.Through the analysis and empirical examination of the impact of cross-border e-commerce on China’s foreign trade and the problems encountered in the development of both,effective countermeasures such as improving payment system,strengthening infrastructure construction and cultivating talents are proposed.This is not only of theoretical and practical significance to the development of cross-border e-commerce in China and its impact on China’s foreign trade,but also helps to improve the international competitiveness of cross-border e-commerce and foreign trade in China. |
